heeyy everyone. I'm thinkinng ofgetting this phone. There are some pretty good comments on the LG cookie and i think i should stick with the commentsw / reviews. My only concern is the battery. I have heard that the battery doesnt last that long, although i dont use it 24/7 like my sister does with her hiptop. This phone is only for a couple of years until i am old enough to go on a plan. Im really excited about this because i have heard really good comments about it. I nearlly made a bad decision with going towards the LG webslider. all i could see were bad comments. I am looking forward to getting this phone. but before i do i want to know that good and bad things about it. SO if you know anything aout it please post back. and ill make my decision from there.
thanksss.

Yeah I also have a problem with the battery. I need to be careful to use this phone most of the time to play a game or listen to the music. Especially when I have to go out, I need to charge it first. :(

1.How many hours does it need to charge to full battery?
2.Does it have dictionary?if no,where can i download the dictionary to the phone??
thanks in advance
This looks set to be a decent affordble touchphone, however with further inspection this might not be such a good phone in the long run.
The major concern is the battery life of 350 hours standby and 3 hours, 30 mintues talk time, which is very appalling and inadequate when compared to other phones in the similar price set, such as the Samsung S5320 Star "Tocco Lite" which boasts up to 800 hours standy and up to 10 hours talk time. Of course, battery life isn't approximate, but with figures like that, it's a no brainer. You'd want something that won't die on you when you're out and about.
Cutting down to the user interface, it's a touchscreen, so you'd expect good feedback as you might have read from the review. However, I have read and seen otherwise, the touchscreen requires a firm press (or tap) to use. That, and the fact that the virtual QWERTY keypad has opted for an unconventional layout (missing out the all important full stop), adds to future inconvenience.
With those two points in mind, it makes me wonder why would you want this phone. You wouldn't want to buy this phone if you're a moderate user, you wouldn't use this for texting, nor does it have the battery life for sustained talking. Which leads me to conclude, this is a cheap touch screen phone for the lower end of the market.
The price looks very attractive, however with the ever changing market, just because a phone is cheap and affordable, doesn't make it a good purchase. One can purchase the Samsung S5230 Star "Tocco Lite" sim-free for just an extra £5 more (£140) than the LG KP500 Cookie sim-free (£135).
