This phone has a serious problem ..
when you are in "ring & vibrate" mode and receiving any call, there is no way to silence the phone with a single key.. you need to press the volume key few times to lower the ringing volume but that process still leaves the vibrator on.

Dude, 30 May 2009This phone sucks! Didn't even last for 1 month!hmm, well well, did you take really good care with it? like dont press to hard on the touch screen? kept it in a case/cover? if in a handbag/skool bag dont drop or anything did you lightly place it down? see its a new phone, you have to take extra good care of it.

i have just got a problem dat,i transfered my pictures from my mobile to computer,just after tranfering picture when i opened the gallery of my mobile, it restarted,so i opened da gallery again then same situation occured,it happened more than 5times then i left it.. i found two new files (autorun.inf & mluu.pif)in my memory card... pls help me out, wat has happened with it???

To all who are planning to buy this phone, read first the phone specifications then ask something you did not understand! Not like asking whether it has flash, or does it have wifi? 3g? Only ask things that are not stated in the specs and other issues based on reviews and experiences. Also read oponions not only on the first page but on the previous pages, other questions that you wanted to ask maybe already answered there, like issues about restarting and the calculator glitch etc. Also about the themes, other programmers have already change the phone's theme. Try visiting mylgcookie . Com, there are lots of topics and techniques there and also tutorials on how to do that, to do this.

I had this phone for a few months already, some may say it always hang and such but the first thing i did was to update to the latest firmware of the LG Cookie, and my phone works great. It has not turned off or hang ever since the day i bought it. The camera is actually good for 3.2 megapixel. No lag or anything. Only the calender got some issue but i can live with that. Overall, its a wonderful phone. No regrets. Worth the money.

asrejestrobasticoldi, 23 May 2009why is my lg kp500 cookie automaticcally turns-off without any reasons do i need to reformat i... morethe switch off problem,maybe not because of virus,it happens to me too sometimes but resolved the problem.it is something more practical.i noticed it happens only when the phone is in my pocket.this maybe only, after a call ends the phone goes is in semi lock mode, means display is visible for a few seconds-you can unlock it or it goes to full lock mode until the display backlight is off .so what i do, after each call ends i full unlock it and lock it again-(display off) then put in my pocket.it seems after a call ends the phone is semi lock mode ,so putting it immediately in your pocket can result of switching off accidentally,with your gestures,movement,sitting,crouching etc
