Anonymous, 03 Feb 2009u watch full movies in it........??
now dont tell me the movies rae in the mp... moreUnfortunately, Cookie doesn't support DivX/XviD files but I'm so sure that in no time there will be an application available for DivX file reading.
I watch movies in mp4, resolution 400x240 for the video to fit the whole screen! Seriously it's a great quality image. I use a video bitrate of 216 and audio of 128.
lifting the video bitrate up to 512 makes the video to lag but I guess that problem as already been solved with the new firmware update. I haven't updated my Cookie yet, but it doesn't have any major problems so far...
shey, 03 Feb 2009mind if i ask what is "QWERTY"?It's the keyboard on the phone to type.
QWERTY is the common english keyboard. The first top left letters of your keyboard might type QWERTY. If so, that's a QWERTY keyboard.
There are other types of keyboards though, like HZERT, or something but you don't usually get to see them...
It all depends on the disposal of the letters to type. And QWERTY is the most used and the one you got used to when typing on the computer. :)
i cant use bluetooth applications in this phone..it does not support java API 4 bluetooth..Can anyone tell a solution 2 this problem?
Azgauth, 03 Feb 2009Video playback is good.

Helder M, 03 Feb 2009QWERTZ?!?!
No man!! My Cookie is QWERTY.
But I guess it depends on the language you have... moreNo man, I think what she meant with 'QWERTZ' is that she always makes typos on the keyboard. Maybe she has fat fingers or somethin'. What I didn't get is 'its scratched'? duhhh...
Maybe you should compose your sentences better so us normal people can understand you.. or maybe just keep your comments to yourself.. hehe wag ka na din magtagalog ksi bka di maintindihan ng iba (don't use tagalog coz other people wouldn't understant it)
guys, since the phone does not have flash make sure to use it w/ proper lighting then you will see that the camera is not bad. it is expected to get an image w/c is not good if u use the phone in dark areas. think...

No man!! My Cookie is QWERTY.
But I guess it depends on the language you have put on the phone.
hey, ppl. I'm back with a vengence. lol. The phone (lg) is a total sucess. Tho I must point out a few glitches since the past month.
One, the QWERTY keypad is NOT QWERTY. It's QWERTZ. xD
Two, the active UI sucks. It really is slow.
Three, camera. It looks more VGA than 3 mega.
Four, MY PHONE IS SCRATCHED. -.-" why is it scratched?!
Five, rebooting so far is 3 times. I know people have been bustling about this. Yeah, it sucks. It took away my profiles and settings. Total rebooting! Ampf. But it didnt delete contact, pics, vids, music and all the important stuff.
THATS ALL. Yeah, there are a lot of good things. But it's too much to put here. :)
My wife is loving her cookie.
No bugs on her phone, all is good.
No upgrade whatsoever.
I guess the fortune for my wife's Cookie was in luck.
So go ahead get a Cookie, if you won't like it just put it on the cookie jar.
i'll just wait for my contacts at LG pasig if they have new firmware again. to date, mine is V10c +24
This is specially for the LG cookie users from India.
Indian sites tech2.com & techtree.com reviews claim that the phone has problems with both the accelerometer and the on screen QWERTY keypad being laggy, slow and erratic. They claim that sometimes it takes a long time for the QWERTY keypad to appear after the phone has been turned in the landscape direction. Also they claim that the QWERTY keypad often doesn't recognize the letter being pressed.
Can people who've bought and used this phone in India please comment if this is true?
