mj, 31 Jan 2009what document can it view?.. i try to put an MS docx. to it and it says its not supported..It can read MS .doc files (be sure to save the file in compatible mode MS Office 2003. if you save as MS Office 2007 (.docx) it will not read)
It also accepts MS Excel files and Power Point (again in compatible mode for Office 2003).
And reads .pdf files too!

I got my cookie's software upgraded last Thursday. thanks to some review's posted here i was able to go to LG Pasig (phils.). According to the technician, Wellcom is authorized where other cookie owner's can have their cookie upgraded. but not all Wellcom shop's can offer the upgrade some are just drop off points where Wellcom will be the one to bring you're cookie to LG's Service center which will take you day's of waiting.
(Wellcom in Robinsons galleria was mentioned that is offering the software upgrade).
Also, that same day my Girlfriend brought her Cookie. She got her Cookie for only P11,300.

i got my cookie last monday and im currently enjoying the experience and i don't regret buying this phone.
i also experienced reboot on first day when i still didn't have memory card. but when i bought my memory card and set all the saving locations to the card, i no longer experienced reboot (5 days now.)
i agree with the comments below that the camera is not at par with nokia and sony phones. However, the image editing capability of the phone compensates the "not so great' quality of the photos taken by this cookie.. I love playing with the settings and the pictures came out great after editing. here are the photo editing features of the phone

Was amazed by it the first few days. Then slowly got sick of it (my problem). Then it started restarting and offing itself and returning to factory mode.
Ah well. I should've believed all the negative feedback.
Selling it next week (yipee) and getting a phone with a keypad. I've enough of touch screens for a while.

BTW I've just upgraded to v10n main difference between v10c+24 is you could do it by yourself. other than that I think they're the same.

I tried the IM+ messenger app on cookie (the 7 day trial), it works.
It's actua... moreriz, the photos went well with photoshop... hehehe... but i still can't upload the software... i think i need to upgrade this phone to that of a version E. on lock code... charges for hours...
good with 4gb...

starting to love this but still got an n73 phone.

the camera is excellent as long as you know how to use it and what not to do with it... morehaha...
I think the camera is not good. Nothing you can do about it.
I am pretty good with playing with the device and knowing how a device works in probably less than a day.
So, WOLZ... I do know how to work it. No need to tell me to go read the manual.
Unfortunately, I just don't find the camera good enough. That's that. period.
No one can change my mind.
If you haven't seen a better camera than what the cookie has, I feel bad for you. Pitiful.
