I tried the IM+ messenger app on cookie (the 7 day trial), it works.
It's actually faster than I expected. I tried it on the Yahoo.
About the EDGE also, I'm pretty unhappy about the RSS feature. I tried it many times, over and over. It did update twice for 2 different urls. But, but, but, it only worked (i'm in a metro area) right after midnight.
There is something about the time, I think. Yesterday, I tried one url over and over no success. Midnight, i was still awake, I tried. And Guess what, it worked. Very sad circumstance, I want it to update during the days.

I tried installing the games, I installed 4 already and all of them are working a okay.

Could you help me since you seem to have great wisdom regarding this phone, pelase? dhave i bought a fake one or do i need to upgrade the phone or get a newer software.... i heard that they already go something like a version E... Thank you very much.

Well, I found that there are 2 IMs available for the KP500. I believe they are worth $12.

-- Are you serious? Well, I don't think you can really do much with the camera. It is what it is. I did compare it to my old device, the picture just wasn't that great (if there are any that are worse).
-- The device is okay. You just have to live with the camera being "just that."

I had the (last) N-gage before. A pretty cool device. But, it really wasn't user friendly.
I also used a nokia when I was in the Phil; it still wasn't very user friendly.
Okay, the features were good. But, it's an annoyance when everytime you need to work a feature, you have to take so much time to find it.
So, get the COOKIE. It's good.

the phone will reset if you use the world time only on the old version of the phone. why did i know? because my friend has the old cookie version and he cannot access the world time w/o the phone being reset, but mine is working fine... so, i suggest that you have the firmware updated... if yours is already updated and still doing the same thing, that's said... :

Re caller ID its ok now, must leave phone on handset setting not on sim. warning the phone may hang if you activate world time if it does just keep pressing the on/off button until unit resets...do not remove the battery!!

other than that the phone is ok, value for money could buy a 10" screen computer from the difference of the Omnia and still have change

battery can last 4 days max no calls just regular texting and fooling around with camera... which brings up my problem I followed the manual for caller ID picture but after choosing the picture from my files it will not direct it to the phone book.

marie, 27 Jan 2009how do you update the software? did you update it yourself or did you have it updated at a sho... moreu nid to go to a LG service center to upgrade the software for free. it will just take about 5 to 10 mins. :p
