It's a very bad phone. My friend has nothing but troubles with the touchscreen.
the KP500 is a very slow phone!
I wouldn't buy it, go for the samsung star instead!

i am using this 4 1and half year, its a good phone.specially i dont have any prob at all, only the camera feature are minimum, and the begining i also have prob with typing msg on qwerty key pad now its ok. and i dont have any prob with touch screen.
one more thing is that this phone is not personisable.............

My kp500? It seems ok on surfing the net, but my problem is very hard to write a message the space of its keys too near, and the headset easy to damage and worn out n hot area like phils

Haven't felt so irritated with a mobile phone that i've resolved my self not to buy an LG phone again. Totally unresponsive coupled with an equally annoying messages that pop up with almost everything. The User Interface is totally horrible. If this is what touch screen experience means, then you probably wouldn't want to touch a phone again.

fffffffffff, 18 Jul 2010iam gonna get the mbile but my frinds tell me that its too cheep to buy so buy it or notdo not buy it is cheep and heavy..... cannot do anything in a case of emergency...

>press on Regular
>at the top of the profile it says sound alert. just under that is a little box that has a red off press this you should see on.
> lower on the profile there is a box for ringtone be sure there is one
>scroll down and set the volume
>press save on the bottom of the screen

With the standard theme it's a bit boring, but since .DMFs were decrypted and made convertible to .swf I got really satisfied :) (You know what this stuff means if you hacked it)
There are in fact a lot of different themes and changing them isn't even hard if you have a little experience with PCs.

hmn... well i've been using it for almost two days... and im not disapointed for buying this cellphone... it is nice... stylish and super affordable... although many says it is a bad phone... well thats for them... but I think came back to 2008... hmn??? I think no one would say it is a bad phone am I right?
Im satisfied with my LG KP500 COOKIE! although the touch screen is not soo sensitive because it has a stylus. good camera and sound quality is also good. well thats all thanks!
