The gallery of LG KS360 is both functional and user-friendly and is accessible through the My stuff icon in the main menu.
Besides the regular thumbnail view mode, LG KS360 offers a couple of new 3D animated view modes that we haven't seen on a LG phone before. They are pretty attractive but the animations tend to be just a wee bit too sluggish for our taste.
Single pictures can be viewed in both landscape and portrait mode, and can also be displayed fullscreen. You can also zoom in to see further detail. Zooming is slow at the first zoom step, but then picks up. On the other hand, we are pleased with the panning speed and as well as with the overall speed of LG KS360 in general when handling multimedia. All those are typical LG perks.
There's a second image gallery accessible only from the camera interface. It's really nice looking and offers a choice of larger thumbnails. Again, having two image galleries on board is typical LG.
The music player on LG KS360 is rather basic - there is no way to sort tracks such as by artist, album or genre. There is a single basic skin and it doesn't seem to feature Album art.
Fortunately, you can search for tracks and there are various equalizer presets. When managing your custom playlists you can make use of the automatic Recent and Favorites playlists.
Music can be enjoyed on LG KS360 with the FM radio too. Its interface is rather simple and generally very easy to work with. However the FM radio implementation has a number of drawbacks. There are only 12 slots for storing stations, there is no RDS support, and the radio cannot play in the background unlike the music player. All that makes you wonder what they were thinking, doesn't it?
The LG KS360 has a nice video player. You can watch videos in landscape mode. Fast-forwarding and rewinding are also available.
The camera gallery that we mentioned earlier also gives access to videos. The only difference with the regular file manager is the larger and nicer thumbnails. The video player functionality is just the same.
