Hi Iam frm Jakarta, Indonsia. No Wifi no problem since only a few place it. But browsing almost impossible without Opera Mini here. Unless you use it as modem. Battery life is terrible, so I have the second battery. Otherwise it is Ok since I got it as a scond hand. But can anyone inform me which Opera Mini suits to the LG ?

I bought this phone and is satisfied for my usage. No WiFi is no problem for me. Battery life is short but for me I usually charge my phone every night so no problem again.
I like the phone design because the main purpose of a mobile phone is a phone. The other 'smartphone' functions are sumpplementary. This phone serves this 'core' requirement, i.e. reliable (no hang); loud speaker and ring; solid body; right size to hold it to talk.
The improvements I suggest LG to do are bigger screens (both inside and outside), especially the inside one.

Dont buy this, I am in Indonesia just bought this but was totally hang and currently under repair in LG Bandung Centre.

I am having a major problem getting gps software loaded and when i run gps position, it says no gps. is there a way to turn the gps on and off? if so could someone please advise me.

Great phone BUT it says Vista/XP but Pc suite cd dont install..says installation failed??? Also cannot get settings for GPS, MMS or GPRS...PLEEEESE HELP

They all grant access to the internet and are easily set up, so you shouldn't have any problems. The coverage usually extends beyond the city limits, so there is little problem there either.

Okay, I know this is a silly question.
No Wi - fi. Alright.
My good friend has the KT610, and I was wondering if you just access the internet through the network? I don't want to be buying a phone specifically for the internet when I can't access it wherever I go (within city limits of course). Can I still access the internet with this phone even if I don't have a wi-fi connection?
