I'm using 4gb Sandisk HCSD and no problem. Like other guy said on this board your phone will recognize it as 2gb but you can store up to 4gb worth of files.
I have some questions about the LG KU990 Viewty.
Has someone already tried and succesfully used a 4GB or even 8GB microSD card with the LG Viewty?
And if yes, which is the brand and name of this microSD card?
How does the battery work? long enough?
thanks very much!
Hi, can some one help me plz, I saw a video on youtube of a viewty review and it shows him viewing his images then he put it in random mode and it scattered them, he then dragged and dropped them on the screen were he wanted , I cant do this ? I can scatter them but when i try to drag it , it wont let me !. Your help will be much apreciated (:
everything about this phone is brilliant only downside is the rather average 1.2 bluetooth connection
I was so worried about gettin this fone as I had my heart set on the sony W960I, But im over the moon with this handset its everything I wanted and more !
The LG viewty is a beauty ! (:
too right one must agree, the viewty is quite simply stunning, i cannot wait to see what fun i can have with the slow motion video. hmmmm
Oh golly gosh, this phone is Viewtyful. The functionaliy is super and the camera is something to behold. Rejoice and get down on your knees to worship at the temple of LG, quite simply the best!
regarding roy's post, i think the only option would just to be to go to menu then phone settings and calibration. the screen may not be calibrated correctly. mine is ok, but i calibrated it as soon as i got it =]
I have a question.
When I press some of the icons on the screen, I cannot press directly on them. Instead I have to press slightly away. This happens for the buttons nearer to the screen edge.
When I use the QWERTY keyboard, for example, I am unable to press on w, e or o directly. Instead I have to press on r to access e.
I am not sure if this is a software problem with my phone, or if the alignment is adjusted so that most fingers will concentrate mainly in the middle of the phone and not brush against the edges.
Can anyone advise on this?
inquired about it from telecom concept here in philippines and they told me that it will be available in the market by next week monday! thank god i've been waiting for ages!

thanks for the positive post, should recieve my viewty tomoz and cant wait now (:
please don't be put off by all of these bad reviews. i recieved my phone from o2 today (3 days late, but well worth it) and i haven't found one thing wrong with it. it comes with a half charged battery which is good :). i installed the pc suite and it is so easy to use, much easier than my n70's one. another good thing is that when plugged in via usb, it also charged :). the phone is so intuitive, all the menu's are awesome. i will review in about two weeks to tell you about long term use, but so far, i think it's AMAZING!
Sigh... I was so looking forward to this phone. But I'm returning mine because of the camera. It's not as good as they want you to believe and I honestly cannot believe people who write here that the camera is excellent.
On the downside:
- Pictures do NOT look like 5mp at all
- Somehow pics taken with flash lack any "sharpness". Hard to decribe, but it is like there's another layer over the pic, as if there's still some protective foil on the lens.
- Pics taken with flash are very BLUE. The camera should be able to correct that. It knows it is taking flash pics.
- Manual focus: well,... that is nearly impossible to do, so quite useless. Basically the scroll wheel is useless.
- Close ups with flash look totally washed out! That is very bad...
On the plus side:
- The KU990 is the best looking phone around these days.
- Touch screen works like a charm.
- Menus are very intuitive.
- The camera is actually pretty fast. Not too much shutter lag (not as fast as the K800i). Only anoying thing is that the shutter sound sounds sometime after the pic has been taken. So you are waiting but the pic is already done. Could be possitive too, because you'll hold your camera steady until you hear the sound.
And yes, I tried every setting and tested it quite thoroughly, but still, it's going back and I'm back to my K800i. So what's next for me? The K850i? No... that phone is just FUGLY if you ask me ;-)
Anyway: for me the camerafunction is quite important, so after using the K800i, this was a big disappointment.
