video at 120 fps it's a fake. Normal movies on tv, dvd, cinema, etc. have only 25 fps. The human eye cannot feel the diference between 25 and 4000 Frames Per Second.
I think it's great. If you compare it to the other leading 5MP camera phone - N95 - it is way nicer! Maybe bc it doesn't try cover all features, it will be cheaper?
With the unbelievable video at 120 frame/s, video will eat all of your memory card in a few seconds !
is that a xenon flash??? i'm no doubt the K850 i'll be better in the camera question... but with a full touchscreen makes me think twice..
Wow 120 fps not even the most expensive camcorders meet this mark, that is truely really amazing, way to go lg good job, wow!
dude, it IS a touch screen phone...
the keys that you see are ON the screen...
everything except the kitchen sink...
Wi-Fi that is...
but all in all a 9.5/10 effort from the korean phone company...
The pics are very mis-leading, where did gsm get them? There is no keypad on this phone and apart from on/off & volume is totally touchpad. It will be launched in Oct 07 and be exclusive to 3, atleast for the first 2 months. this phone is what 3 will base their new band of HSDPA phones on, they will also release s/e w910i,nokia 6500,n95. all with HSDPA.
admit im the first looks good but thats it the phone will crash just like the old one
What? Only 3G no EDGE? No Wifi? Currently there is not many place in US has 3G. Thumb down! Hope this one has a full keyboard on screen!
people who comparing this with N95 or K850i for Camera quality...! KU990 is much better ... it has 120fps for motion capture for video recording !!! N95 and K850i only has 30fps. which is below HD(60fps) !
This is supposed to be the "Prada KE850" upgrade and yet, the word "Prada" is no longer imprinted on the device. Wonder if this will lead to a price reduction for the device?
The competition is finally out! Two touchscreen HSDPA-enabled 5 megapixel camera phones head to head. (Well, it looks through that the Koreans are the fastest and best-est at coming out with top features!) Who will win? Samsung, make some noise!
Actually, it's LG's SECOND quad-band phone. The LG CU500 is quad-band, too.
Ohh... Sony Ericsson K850 vs Samsung G600 vs LG KU990 vs Nokia N95 8GB/N82 ... ohh... The fight of the 5 megapixel beasts is finally on...
Wow! I think this phone is going to appeal to users who want a strong multimedia phone, with an excellent camera (and video recording to boot) and great music (with the all-time favourite radio!)
However, it does seem pretty much just that, a let down considering that you would hope that a touchscreen phone can serve up some business functions, such as document editing software, but I suppose for the normal user like me, what they have is a complete package, with the swooning camera and HSDPA.
But hold on there, the HSDPA only has speeds of 1.8Mbps??? Did I head wrong? It does seem a bit slow... Well, not a bit. Very! A few, not much, but a few phones can already go up to speeds of 7.2Mbps and Singapore's Starhub allows for surfing speeds of that speed. It seems like 1.8Mbps is way too slow for a jam-packed multimedia phone like this! Hopefully we might get to see some changes to that.
Otherwise, I would love to know if it does run on any operating system. Rumours did say it would run on Windows Mobile 6? Seems unlikely here. But it might come with the problems of Windows too.
And one last thing! Just wonder what the media browser will be like, and whether it will be able to access sites such as YouTube ssince it is marketed as a multimedia phone.
I doubt LG will make it simply a phone with great camera functions and just that since they had previously released the KG920 for that and it didn't work well.
And! The Prada phone was quite expensive because of the Prada label... I am expecting that the price of this phone should drop? Considering that the features are way below par, compared to Nokia N95, I would expect its price to be somewhere near Sony Ericsson K850, which should be relatively cheap! Please!
