The... moreI had a similar problem with my top of the range samsung tab - the thing is that the memory advertised is before they install the OS. also, the more apps you have the more memory gets used up, try getting an external card or deleting apps - or reset the phone

But I use a micro SD card to move certain apps onto. Things like Google Play and other preloaded Android apps stay on the internal and can't be moved. This is, admittedly, the biggest handicap with this phone.

I had purchased L70 in April 2014 and since then it has been giving me a lot of problems. The first and foremost problem is internal memory is very low not even 1 GB as against 4Gb declared by the company. I have been facing storage problem ever since plus the phone keeps on hanging. Totally frustrated with the phone. Have made a bad choice by purchasing LG phone instead of Samsung.

cait, 11 Oct 2014How do you screenshot on this phone? Screenshot capture on this phone (as well as most Android phones) is easy. Hold down the "power on/off" and "volume down" buttons simultaneously. It will then automatically store the screenshot to the picture gallery.

I think you mean the G2, in which case I do think the G2 is obviously a far better specced phone. Although it may be a toss up between the L70 and the G2 Mini. Yes the L70 is 3G only, not LTE (a version of 4G). Those prices you mentioned seemed quite reasonable, even after the 'inflated' figure from the salesperson.

I just got this phone yesterday, and something the store owner said didn't sound quite right, what you just posted really made me think.
I was there for an "üpgrade" invitation sent to me buy my phone carrier. My phone is still working, but I looked at the prices and thought it wouldn't hurt to at least keep current. It's a Met, btw- but that is a long story too long for this post.
The advertised price was $49, and they also had another LG G2 for $69 (which was really the phone I had picked out from the advertisement before I went to check them out) but the guy said that there was barely any difference between the two models, to which I replied, "well all I have is $50!" He then said, "This LG 70 will cost you close to $75 bucks out the door, after taxes and such. The other one will be close to $125, and they're BOTH only G4 phones, not even 4GLTE."
The phone I've been using for the last two years is a LG 4GLTE that I bought from him when I first went to Met, and I only paid $50 for it then, and when I reminded him of that, he said, "the discounts are for new subscribers only." Then why did they offer me an upgrade notice??
I was very under the weather yesterday, so I didn't ask that, but now I'm reading these posts and some folks are saying they're not even 4G? I know Met just merged with T, maybe they have 4G available, or is there no such thing as 4G?
Which phone is better, the LG 70 or the LG? as I think I might be returning it tomorrow- I have 7 days.

Three main weaknesses with this phone are: average loudspeaker quality, small internal memory, and no backlight on home button/return/menu keys.

The call quality is OK using the earpiece, however if you want to play music/talk on loudspeaker, you will be disappointed. I'm being brutally honest here, but this is one of the weak points of this phone.
