Ok here is the best way to reslove landscape rotation/white background black font knocn to sleep in this device and i tried planty of ways. Install Apex launcher, Greenify app.
First you set menu button in original settings to view menu item and not task manager!
In apex set homebutton for recent apps/task manager. For menu button set nothing!. For double tap set shortcut for greenify hibarnate and lock then double tap on home screen you have to activate prompt permission. So now you have task manager on home button like before, menu button as menu. White background for sunlight and when holding home button you have addition prompt for hibarnate and lock so now home button is also the lock button when holding longer.

Kitkat 4.4.2 is indeed superior.

At this moment LG should release Kitkat 4.4.4 instead Lollipop for L90-D405.

If LG wants to be the best than they better listen to their costumers. Serious, make no crap updates because it make ur phone complete useless.

Its seems that kitkat is more attractive OS then LP. Because its feature rich and its fastest Android to date. I do not regret updating to LP but now i see that latest Android OS is not so great after all. This makes me a better choice not purchasing any new device because of just that. I saw tons of video in comparison and KK is faster in any way then LP. The only reason vhy LP is better is of api level and some less restrictions then KK and camera 2 api. Thats it. I will wait for new upgrade for new purchase. Material design and LP is just boring. And i think its wrong directio n just as metro design which si SO boring. LP is new JB as i said before

For those who dont wont to upgrade dont because there is no need for it. I think this is maybe the most bugfree kitkat device out there. And here is one more feature they cut from kitkat. MHL streaming, screen off. Now that is a big feature for me. For those who want to upgrade, upgrade there is no problem. Only downside is smoothness downgrade by 10 procent overall. Seems that app animations cant be turned off!
Sd400 is getting very hot at 55c something that never happend in kitkat which was at 42c max no matter what you do.

I fint know if I have bugfree unit but I never had any problems on my device except app crashes on the first version like Bluetooth and camera but I have fix it with couple of resets. Overall drawbacks for me is no visible silent mode but there is a substitute for that in notification "don't disturb button" landscape mode in home screen/appdrawer and white background with black fonts in appdrawer. No sms time stamp. Everything else have no effect for me. Now something positive. New smart keyboard with build in swipe mode, no need for Google keyboard anymore. Downloadable launguage packs. Two language prediction at the same time. No app crashes. Flash light notification in settings build in. No animation hiccups when animation turned off in developer mode. Battery seems to be holding pretty well after 2-3 full discharge recharge cycles. Not so good realtime est to zero but it needs fresh readings by cycles Battery calibration! Screen recording enabled, voice call recorder enabled. Es file explorer write to external card permission fixed. Chromecast working without any problem. App notification dedicated in settings not in programs but it's dedicated now. Video player works when locking screen by power button. This is some of New features and there is more. Now I've upgraded because of warranty policy which day if the device is not user friendly or useless even after 1 year warranty I can return product in 3 years after purchase. So far so good so I will try to find essential bugs like drop call big, drop data big just to return device but everything seems to work bugfree.

Android27, 23 Apr 2015The screen bug is irritating. Besides that, and the few changes, there is no loss in produc... moreI've updated too. One time soft reset and one time hard reset just to clean junk. I see some stuff too. There is new features but also cuts. For usb mtp multi mode i understand they cut the view option its in recognition mode by usb and then you select, lesser space in rom. Then you have usb internet moved to connection mode, all visible now. Much more function in settings but cuts are. No landscape home launcher mode. Remote contorl in notification doesnt change by holding but by single tap. No lockscreen widget any more. App ops doesnt work in lollipop. No sms time stamp any more. Video merged with gallery. Now this is a biggy for me. No background change option in appdrawer. Why. I need white background with black fonts cause of sun :) lock screen knock code works without bug! No original app statistic not in use! No roboto font! Homescreen need more dedicated option shortcut not just google and opera mini. Video smart screen not visible any more think its merged with smartscreen. Daydream much better now! Baterryguru not working any more. No refresh option what so ever. Think that project volta is taking over now. Energy mode enables cpu and perfomance control but it doesnt explain what it does. Now thay did this cuts because of low priority and maintaning phone under class by default. Thats why those cuts but at same time some other stuff. Ram managment is more realtime now. Not so much but there is a difference. Alarm moved to clock. I will check antutu if there is any perfomance boost

Which reminds me, of the 1.5A stock charger itself. I got the 2.1A charger too, but sadly the charging had no effect on it. I hope that this kernel theory is correct.

Lollipop upgrade is now available for D405 and its the same version as D410 which is V20a. Now i wonder what is V20b in source code. Is that the later stability update? As i remember there where 2 or 3 updates prior to lollipop and every single one of them where at 4 months update cycle and before this one the latest update was somewhere in december-januari. Is that the new lg update policy?

I have charger that maximum output is 3A and have 4 ports.
Its a kernel issue thats why i asked about lollipop if they have changed that. Maybe custom rom can enable fast charge if there is one for that purpose. Will wait for news about lollipop otherwise i will root and upgrade to cyanogen 12 or later about a year after i buy a new phone

For example I cannot disable shutter sound on the D410, but some of the owners in other parts of the world are able to.

Search XDA for more info.

FYI there is no bug which will prevent you from running an app or something along those lines. It is a fully functional update, and a few changes in the ROM which might or might not annoy you (for the most part, you will be pleased)

The L90, sadly, doesn't seems to support that feature and the max that it accepts is 720mA (I used a 2.1A charger)

But still, it charges quite fast with that charger. I recall that the stock charger was not bad either. However, I never had the chance to test its output as it stopped working after 4 months and I stumbled upon the app (which measures current output) only after it broke down.

Its an opinion thing. Yes as i have heard its full of bugs. I personally will not update at all because everything works very well on latest kitkat update. Why update if it works and there is no bugs. Wait for lollipop update v20c/d. I will update when Lg comes with offical update 5.1 news. The only thing which doesnt work very well with some apps on kitkat is art runtime. Some apps doesnt work properly but why change to art when dalvik is stable!
