[deleted post]No, there is no specific app for sharing. Bluetooth is the only option. Though you can look for external apps that will do the job.
Yes, root exploit is available.
You can root by two ways. The method depends on the software version you currently are on. Look for the version under settings-->About phone-->Common-->Software information
1.For version V10d or lower the easiest way is to get the towel root app and just run it.
(Make sure you have "Allowed mock locations" under developer options settings. If you haven't activated the developer options then for that you need to go to software information-->Build number. Just tap the build number repeatedly until it activates. Soon, you'll find developer options showing under settings) Once you download and install towelroot app you also have to download the 'SuperSU' app from playstore then update it. Just follow the instructions and you'll be good to go.
Open this link from your phone,
2.For version V10e and above, you have to use other methods which are neatly described here,
Android27, 11 Nov 2014Usually it's a problem of connecting to the same network then accessing it from either device.... moreDoes the Lg d410 has its own particular type of sharing application??? And is the phone rootable?if yes, how can that be done. Pls???
larryking, 11 Nov 2014can't get how to share files via flash transfer/xender/wifi direct....can sumone help Usually it's a problem of connecting to the same network then accessing it from either device.
Xender crashes regularly like it's a part of the process, so don't use it. Try others and post a question to the devs. They can help you out.
Nancy, 11 Nov 2014Is it possible to upgrade into lollypop? Can't say for sure, but, going by how the update is getting rolled out to G3 and progress(on L90) is gaining momentum, it(Lollipop update) should not be far.
Still, mid-range devices usually never get updated so...

himanshu, 25 Oct 2014awsome phone in this range. Have many diff. features which make them diff. from other phone. b... moreRoot your phone and use Link2SD. (don't worry the OTA is still working as of now :D)
AnonD-322255, 27 Oct 2014EveryPhone they will occupy minimum of 2.5 gb for internet OS storage, so its negotiable.
agr... moreSignal depends on your SIM as well. I find Airtel network to be way better than MTNL network. Not only that, location also matters.
Interestingly, you didn't mention the display resolution and the redundant menu key. seems like you are more concerned with aesthetics than functionality. I understand there is no HDR mode but you should have mentioned how bad the focusing and exposure is.
Still, I give it to you. The weak plastic body you are referring yo isn't there to compete for beauty contest. Samsung uses plastic too. The reason is that L90 rarely gets hot. Only when you use the camera it heats up which is strange because under heavy load it still remains warm at best.
Not to sound like I'm supporting this but, if you know how to root and customize a phone then, you will not face many issues. That's all.
L90. Rooted. Stock. V10d-IND-XX (updated to latest Sep 2014 version)
AnonD-322255, 27 Oct 2014Yes, but you have to bye the cable from outside market. No OTG on L90, m8. Sad but true.
You have OTG on Xperia M2 and Moto G but I'm doubly sure there isn't one on L90.
I'm not sure if he covers this in this video but look around for some more and you'll find one where he tries to use OTG but fails.
worried user, 28 Oct 2014I had bought LG L90 dual on 25 aug 2014 but today it has been the third time my phone got hang... moreTry updating to the latest firmware. See if some rogue app messes up with your system. Get a log report and look into it. Something might have caused it afterall.
Mine never hanged till date (August 2014) and even if it did, it did because of some bad app misbehaving. Since then, no such issues.
