You can probably buy a higher capacity battery online somewhere but could possibly affect the performance. But if you want a 2900 or +3000 mah battery, you'll probably have to spend a bit more and go into the high end models.
I bought one latebseptember. By mod november it would just power on and off by itself repeatedly. After a week of this, it ruined the battery. When going to the metro corporate office, they wont do shit for you unless it happens in front of them. Just bought another to avoid hassle on sec 5th. Guess what? A week ago it started powering on and off. Took it to metro n it didnt do it in front of them so my problem. Keeps getting worse so i took it back n now i gotta pay 15 bicks for trade in and wait a week. Oh, since the piece of shit powers on and off every 10 mins and wont charge or stops charging when it faults and it faults every ten minutes, guess whats happening to the battery (which isnt warrantied even though the defective phones ruining it)
I got one of these a few months back when T-Mobile had an unadvertised promo for the leon for $29.99. Heck some of those throw away phones cost more than that. I have the LTE version and have had no issues. It is not a top of the line smart phone I also have a Galaxy 6 edge plus but the leon is easier to carry around. And if I loose it or it gets stolen or smashed then big deal it was 30 bucks not $800. So for 29.99 it is a great phone for $150 or more not so much. If you are with T-mobile you can call sales and ask them for current promos they usually have some great buys that no one knows about unless you call and ask....

I don't need to used as stereo or tv little games sometimes are ok. Easy to learn to use (and I am not a wiz, believe me). Has everything I need plus more. I've never had a phone worth several hundred dollars but I can't imagine what else I would need. I hear they have crazy good screens. But then they're so much bigger. I love my Leon. The battery does run out quick tho.

What a load of old rubbish some people post. I do NOT work for LG but this little gem that I bought last week because my Samsung Note 4 crashed big time resulting in it having to be sent back to Samsung, is so good, I've decided to dump the Note 4. The LG Leopn is very well built and has some very nice features. eg the quick memo and camera key using volue up/down buttons. Also, how sensible to put these buttons at the rear of the phone instead of the stupid fiddly little buttons that most manufacturers put on the side of their phones.
As far as criticism of the internal memory is concerned, unless you have an iPhone, just about all android phones have 8GB internal but this can be expanded to 32GB using a microSD card.
As far as performance is concerned, it is perhaps a little slower as a budget phone, but its performance as a communications device is excellent. Cell handover works perfectly (unlike my Samsung) and the bluetook and voice quality is excellent.
As a budget phone, this LG Leon is excellent. I'm so impressed that I am going to look at the more expensive LG range with a view to finding something to replace my Samsung Note 4 on a permanent basis.
LG phones are innovative, well put together and perform very well.
This phone is absolute ass if you're coming from any flagship made in 2013-present. Cameras are absolutely awful, battery life is trash, phone can't handle any type of heavy use without lagging and tripping. RAM and internal storage are both crap as well. I give it a 4 out of 10. Can't wait until I get another flagship to replace this low end crap.
Its a good phone i used it for 5 moumth and no problem
And for all who have 3g or 4g pribleem just go to the service client and they send to you an message
