TK, 13 Feb 2013It got about 5.7GB of usable spaceHow about a 16gb version??
Yeah its a good phone. But there are some major drwbacks like batery issue n need some critical bugs to bo fixed.and in india u wont get support for warranty thats the major concern for me.
Got this phone last week. Switched from Samsung Galaxy S2 with Cyanogenmod Custom ROM. Let me add in some pros and cons of Nexus 4:I guess the pros can be read at any reviews. Again there are a few featurs worth mentioning.
1) Love the look of the coporate e mail lay out.
2)JB camera interphase is hard to love in the first week, but certainly is a good one.
3) No stupid blotwares (although there is G+ which many people dont use. If u are on G+ and u are not signed in on G+ in this device, u cant find ur google contacts in G+ in the phone's contact list. Let me then go to the BAD. here are somethings which annoy me.
1) It does not have USB OTG: this is annoying as there are limitations in the connectivity (although it can be connected to file transfer mode in MTP) I like to have a phone with a USB OTG connectivity.
2)In my previous phone contact integration was flawless and we had options to even manually merge the contacts. Here contact integration is poor, It takes some tweaks in Google accounts to even get the entire Gmail contacts to "appear" on the contact list. Facebook contact integration is non existant. I remember in my SGS2 I could have FB contacts integrated into the comtact list and merge them with Skype, whatsapp, twitter and other contacts of everyone I usually talk to. Here U CANNOT JOIN contacts unless u go to google contacts and edit them one by one.
3) Taskmanager: In my older android device, I could close all the running apps in one click, but here u need to go and close the background apps from the home option menu, which does not seem to actually close them, just removes the app history of the device. I guess the last 2 cons are same fore all JB devices, id the manufacturer has not done anything to overcome this.
4) No document editor: This wont be a big problem for most of the people, but I preferred this for simplicity if u want to do a spell check or add a word to your presentation on the go.
I will post more pros and cons in the following days If I don't flash it with a custom ROM.
Bottomline: Its a phone worth the money, It is not particularly interesting or top of the line. I would go for a phone with expandable memory and removable battery and then install a custom ROM to get rid of all the stupid blot ware (Think of SGS3 or HTC models. ).
android 4.2.2 full news list:Fixed Bluetooth audio streaming bugs
Long-pressing the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth icons in Quick Settings now toggles the on/off state
New download notifications, which now shows the percentage and an estimated time remaining for your app downloads while they are happening
New sounds for wireless charging and low battery.
Removed option to show all calls in the phone app's call list.
New Gallery app animation allows faster loading.

Bug fixes and performance enhancements
David, 13 Feb 2013How many gb can you use if you buy an 8gb version??It got about 5.7GB of usable space
At first I don't like using android .but I bought this mobile 2 days back...I'm happy to this phone...nice Google and lg... Now I like android...
nidhi, 11 Feb 2013m plannin to buy nexus 4, read thru lots reviews..d specs. no doubt are gd but heard alot abt ... moreUsing the Nexus 4 from past 4 weeks. Absolutely Stunning Phone, No lags or whatsoever.
No Wi-Fi issues. Except this wont get connected with other Android phones like the S-Beam. Nexus 4 does have the Android Beam but uses Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi Direct on the S3 & Note 2.
Performance is great. Buttery smooth. Camera is good, but not excellent compared to other Sony & Samsung camera's.
Battery backup is a little weak. Comes upto a day normal use (2G) and 3/4 of a day with 3G (Normal use).
