Techn1976, 03 Dec 2012I agree, there are games being played here by LG/Google. Google Web Search handles millions ... moreWell not really, google is selling it the right way. Take this as an example, the iphone 5 costs 212$ or something like that to build, but apple sells it at around 650$ unlocked. The nexus 7 costs around 179$ to build and google makes around 20$ a nexus
I agree, there are games being played
here by LG/Google. Google Web Search
handles millions of searches every minute,
you believe they can't handle a couple of
thousand order on Play Store? Think it
over again! Personally I think Google make a loss on
every NX4 they sell - Look at the price!!!!
That's why they don't do "PRE-ORDER". Google has to play this game to gain
market visibility (marketing) and market
share on Apple and at the same time
making it terribly hard for Microsoft to
enter the market with their pricey
product. Well play by Google! Having said that - I'm happy to wait and
buy NX4 - My phone is still working fine
and pure android experience is priceless!
I've been waiting the review for weeks! This phone is too amazing for not to have one...
We need a review already, come on guys whats taking so long, the phons been out and released in retailers for over two weeks... review please!!
AnonD-84629, 02 Dec 2012Is this working with USB OTG?The answer is no.
AnonD-2559, 02 Dec 2012yeah you are right but that's an old news the latest news coming from LG person is that there ... moreIt's pretty easy to explain why 4G(LTE) works on Canada, they have LTE on the same frequencies that other countries have HSPA (1700/2100 ranges, which are supported by this phone) hence the phone will have the required transceivers for their LTE.
It's just a fortunate coincidence, no one should really expect a widespread update that would bring LTE for this phone (because there is missing hardware to do so for all regions).
vicky, 01 Dec 2012The reason why gsmarena is waiting to review it is bcoz lg hav nt released its full specs yet.... moreThe phone has an 4G chip but it needs the correct power amplifier and antenna to utilize it. Currently it only has that hardware for Bands 1,2,4 because those frequencies are used by HSPA which the LTE chip can piggyback on. Only Band 4 is enabled by the software, which is used in Canada. The other bands besides 1 & 2 will probably never be enabled, hence it will not have LTE functionality outside of Canada and maybe T-Mobile.
