G, 08 Aug 2013Hey guys..Plz do not upgrade to version 4.3 manually..let your phone download it automatically... moreHey, thanks for your opinion. When I unboxed my phone and turned it on, it started to search for the latest upgrade itself without any asking. Now it's ready to be installed but I haven't installed it because it might have bugs. What should I do?

You have to download them yourself. I updated my last phone to ICS by downloading it. Because of that reason, I can't be sure that this update will improve my phone.
Erfan_HD, 07 Aug 2013I bought this amazing phone yesterday and I'm happy that I didn't go for optimus G. It started... moreNexus phones tend to do that, the download the update and then ask if you want to install. I upgraded mine to 4.3 and i havent experienced any problems in the two weeks ive used it. also as i understand, the people who are having trouble with the update are the ones who did it manually, not the OTA update, i dont know of anybody who has had problems with 4.3 that updated OTA

Earlier I updated my phone through ADB Sideload because I was getting impatient to wait for official OTA update and then I started facing problem even most of those who reported complaint are like me.
Yesterday I Flash my phone with stock 4.2.2 and then updated it through OTA and since then performance and Display became more enhance and for the first time I am in love with Nexus4 Display However no comment on battery life So far it 15 hours for me and 36% battery remaining
I don't think there is a harm in going with OTA update and if you find it is not good for you then any time you can go back to 4.2.2 but doing that will reset your phone however it is very easy to do
i have been using this phone for the last 1 month... just awsome phone... nothing to say... don't hesitate to buy this phone... thanks google and LG......
Well, I believe the phone itself could last 2.5-3 years, but I am not sure about the battery. It needs to recharge daily.

I bought this amazing phone yesterday and I'm happy that I didn't go for optimus G. It started downloading android 4.3 without my permission and now it is ready to be installed but I saw a of people saying that their device faces issues after upgrading. Should I update it or not? Does it get better or worse? I think everyone says a different thing because all of them had different responses from their phone!plz help me.
ade, 06 Aug 2013which one will be better between nexus 4 and nokia lumia 720? Both r in almost same price and ... moreLumia is awindow phone where nexus 4 is android, android offers more apps as compare to the window phones.u can search more to make a correct design.
my mom hated this phone, so i traded her my nokia lumia (windows phone) for her nexus 4 and i gotta say i love this phone...it was too complicated for her and really does a lot more stuff than she would ever need, and the windows phone is really simple and pretty boring so we're both happy now.
Bought a new nexus day before yesterday. A wonderful phone. But I am encountering a weird issue. At times the ringer works perfectly fine, but there are times when my phone just vibrates but does not ring. I checked on Android forums and got to know that this is a known issue.
I have checked my volume settings, rebooted the phone a number of times and have also tried checking if 4.3 update caused any problem by rebooting my phone in safe mode. Unfortunately, none of them worked.
Has anyone else faced the same issue? If yes and got a fix for it, please give the insights....Thanks
I just got the Nexus 4 about a week and half ago, i used to have an iphone 4s and was really wanting a change(sick of apple ios). Since having the Nexus 4 apple is a long lost memory for me this phone is beast mode there is nothing bad about it, out of the box was easy top use plus I LOVE how smooth this phone works. great fro watching videos and surfing the net. only flaw is...wait havent found AT ALL battery os great get a full day usage and use ,y phone a lot too. Overall I'am one satisfied user loving my NEXUS4. and comparing the Nexus 4 to the Iphone 5 the spec were not that much different. long live the NEXUS!!
