After 8 months of using this phone I am still in love with it. Still very smooth and not even a single scratch on it (dropped it several times with cover on it). All I say i won't change my phone until nexus 6 arrive. Just to let u know nexus devices will be the first smart phones to update to android L, you just have to wait till the new nexus is released in 2 weeks.
I just got this phone today. And yeah! this phone is just really amazing. Fast in everything, no lag. Smooth UI, and the LTE connection is the feature that I really wnat from this. Simplicity yet powerful at its finest.
How durable is this phone if dropped? I have heard a lot of bad comments but also have had a fair share of good comments about its durability.
For Philippine users who have bought it in another country, if ever this phone is damaged or needs replacement, where do I send it to?

First noticed it when playing a game and I thought there was something wrong with the screen, then I held the buttons while tapping the screen and no rattle. It's just the power button on mine that rattles - volume ones are fine. If I'm correct in thinking, they fixed this problem on the 2nd generation of handsets. Easy way to spot the newer ones is that the holes on the loudspeaker grill are bigger than older version.

A few of the earlier N5 phones had the problem you describe but that was rectified on later production. If you purchased your N5 from the Google Store then you would certainly have received one of the latest models made because the phone regularly goes out of stock until it is replenished.
Further more, it wouldn't cost you anything to return the phone; Google arrange postage.
Post the serial number on the label on the box (it's under the IMEI number and begins S/N:) and I will tell you exactly when your phone was made.

I have thought of a cure for the 'loose buttons' problem (which I still don't believe).
You claim that you bought your N5 last Thursday. That means that you have 12 months warranty on it (unless you bought some old second hand thing which you should have have checked thoroughly before buying).
Just take your nice shiny new phone back to where you purchased it and demand a replacement.
