roc, 08 Sep 2014Hey I'm using galaxy s4 ryt now. will nexus 5 be a worthy upgrade to me ?I currently own a nexus 5 & I can tell you it's an excellent phone but the battery life really kind of sucks as well as the speaker on it other than that it's an awesome phone.if I were you I would wait for the Nexus 6 to come out as each iteration of the phone gets better and better and I don't think the price is going to be that much more for what you get.
pls provide me the over all pros & cons of this mobile including battery backup. Also suggest me the alternative one for this mobile.......
macdan, 05 Sep 2014Any one who experience a problem with this phone please speak out....He macdan I just want to know in nexus 5 is there any app. In which already stored photos videos what's app videos etc other then gallery cuz i need that app if no then which app i should download.I have Samsung galaxy SL also its having my files .
I am really upset and surprised that there is no radio in the phone, or even an applecation for it.
I'm using a Nexus 5 D 820 version in Sri Lanka. But I think the D 820 version is made for the use in North America (I've bought this without knowing about D 820 & D 821 classifications).I'm not having a problem to connect with GSM & 3G networks. But I don't know whether I can connect with 4G networks by using this device. Please reply if anyone lives in Sri Lanka who knows about this issue.
roc, 08 Sep 2014Hey I'm using galaxy s4 ryt now. will nexus 5 be a worthy upgrade to me ?The performance (CPU and GPU) is a bit better on the Nexus 5, and plus you got no bloatware so it will runs like lightning.
But if you want a faster AOSP device, you can go with Moto X2 or wait for the upcoming Nexus X/5/6.
nexus 5 will get first android L I'm very satisfy with nexus5 I got red version and I love it camera is cool 4.4.4 very good no lag very fast Samsung bloatware is bad its slowing down phone but on nexus not possible very fast
james79, 08 Sep 2014Thanks but isn't using a 2a charger risking the battery? Standard charger that it came with is... more@ james79
No. The IC board in the phone will protect it from overcharging. I have used a 2A charger on my S3 which only came with a 0.5A charger without any problems.
roc, 08 Sep 2014Hey I'm using galaxy s4 ryt now. will nexus 5 be a worthy upgrade to me ?go for htc one E8 dude. i was going to get nexus a month back but than E8's launch was near so waited for it. Its a great phone. you'l get all specs of N5+ good camera n very good battery n display. also its antutu benchmark results are better than all current flagships.
james79, 08 Sep 2014Nexus 6 and nexus 9 lol! We will be straight after them. I'm gonna get the Nexus 6 if you ask me. Just because it's still pocketable (thank's God it's not a 6" screen). Go ahead get it when it's available, but for me I'm gonna skip Nexus 6 as my current phone is still more than capable to handle daily task. Also android L update is almost here.
You are about to make the best decision inyour life by purchasing a Nexus device.
Good luck with whichever phone you will buy, dude.
