My experience with the Nexus 5 has been a blast, its overall a great phone I would suggest that they make a better front camera. the pictures with the rear camera are awesome, I would buy this phone over the galaxy s5 anyday of the week, it costs less and has better screen resolution. The galaxy S5 is $700 and the Nexus is $400, so all in all the Nexus is a better buy
honestly the phone is good, if you are having problems with speech and texting downloading an app or root it. I got my phone 2 months ago and it works perfectly fine for me.

I miss the visualiser from the Walkman but most of the sound options on the Walkman were useless as poweramp thrashes any music player. I do miss the different themes from my Xperia T but gaming performance is far better apart from the occasional overheat due to the intense graphics. Xperia T standby time was better but nexus 5 battery better when gaming etc.
I bought nexus 5 two months ago. this phone is good.
good performance,good gaming experience.i can use otg cable to connect it with pendrive and i have copied all data in pendrive only.. only games are installed in mob.
u can directly play songs from pendrive in your mobile.

u can do customization with a launcher too
i bought this phone for just over a month. i love everything about this phone but the feature, i had an xperia before and i miss all the feature offered there. nexus camera is good. no headset included so you need to buy it separately. gaming is really good with a 5" screen and a decent processor, no lag or whatsoever. network or mic problem.. nope, none of those things happen to my phone. oh, did you guys actually TRY your phone before you buy it? i did :) all in all, if you're just looking for raw performance only, go for it. but if you guys are just those people who don't want to be bothered by customization thingy, don't go for it. get yourself another phone with lots of features in it. You're not alone. I've given up trying to hear what callers are saying to me.
It got so bad that I dug out my old Galaxy S3 and went back to that. My N5 is back in it's box in a cupboard.

I have been reading up online and it seems many people are having the same issue. well I already sent one nexus 5 back to my phone company(tmobile)and it was insured but they told me that it had water damage when i never had got it wet nor had it in moist places. but had to pay the $150 replacement fee anyways. i don't want to have to do that again. please help me or dissapoint me

3:14 PM michelle: The limited warranty that we offer is valid for 12 months with the copy of the receipt and it covers only manufacturing defects, no liquid, physical or cosmetic damages, otherwise charges may apply for the repair on the unit. The process takes 5-7 business days, and the only cost that you need to cover would be shipping and handling by sending the defective unit to us and we cover the shipping back with Fedex.
3:20 PM Julie Charbonneau: so i would be without a phone for a week when it's more of a business phone then a social thing. plus take the risk of you people telling me that there was damage on my part (like tmobile had) there for going without a phone even longer. plus the cost of another replace. and you just stated there has been no known issues of this problem when I can show pages of people reporting the same problem on many different costumer review sites.?
3:21 PM michelle: I can imagine your concern and frustration and I do apologize about this, because that would be the evaluation determined by the LG technicians once they received the unit here, they are the ones that determine if the phone is under the warranty or not. Sorry.
3:22 PM michelle: Since LG Electronics do not have any local store that you can take it to, they can only do repairs if you send it via mail. They only have parts to do repairs.
3:23 PM michelle: As long as the phone has no damage and there is a sales receipt, it should be covered under the warranty. But, that would be evaluated by the LG technicians once they inspect the unit. I cannot assure their evaluation, sorry.

My Nexus 5 is losing GPS lock frequently, also when i keep mobile in pocket it loses signal and missing lot of incoming calls.
N 5 is history, make quesse for N6 a moto product. I do not understand that changing mobile has become fashion, or necessity. As long as you are the top of latest innovation, it's OK. But we hav starting asking each other what model I shut buy, looks silly, it'sur money ur ppriorities you decide. Note 5 battery is basic problem, which can never be solved. It's change daily.
I bought the Nexus since almost 2 weeks after reviewing its rating online and I completely disappointed. It has an extremely poor battery performance, it doesn't come with a head set and it isn't easy to one neither. Poor phone.
