There is no game that will even come close to making this phone lag. Iv had my nexus since it came out and so far it has been flawless.
While the prices of S5 have also dropped drastically, can anyone suggest does Nexus 5 still has an edge over S5?

By the way i installed the android L keyboard on my galaxy s2. It sure is nice
Normally from 4.1.2 onwards till 4.4.4 nothing has changed battery, WiFi volume nor camera have drastically improved, basically due to hardware restrictions, but psychologically it may look like. Some will say just scartistic remarks, some will cry like babies, it's this forum to exhaust our apprehensions.

I've had a lot of phones in my life; Iphone 3GS, HTC, Samsung Galaxy I, II, and II, and Motorola, and none of them has been as fast as this beast.
That's down to it running on stock Android, none of the bloatware that other manufacturers use on their phones slowing it down. 2Gb of RAM and a fast processor ensures that it runs without any delay or lag that the others suffer from.
The lastest update to Android 4.4.4 makes it run on steroids! After using my last phone, a Galaxy S3, it's like getting off a bicycle and jumping into a Ferrari! Any app you use opens instantly, something I couldn't say about any other phone I've had.
The Galaxy S3 has a better camera but the one on the N5 is more than adequate for my purposes and gives a good result.
The UI looks a little dull compared to the S3 but that phone over saturates the colours, and you soon get used to N5 display. In fact, I now prefer the natural colours it displays.
I can't really comment on the gaming because I don't use it for that, but the friends I have who do tell me that it runs their games without any stuttering.
The test for any phone is whether you are happy with it, and this is the only phone I have ever had where I can truthfully say "I like it".
That's my opinion of the N5, others people may differ; but you wont be disappointed with the N5 if you choose it.
Hope that helps.

I didnt get the chance to use this phone in the stores (they never keep it on display...). Does it lag while gaming? And what about the camera? I've heard a lot of negative feedback regarding the camera...
Freefaller™, 28 Jun 2014@ ameya13 The iphone 5s will be replaced by the i6 in September, so if you decide on an i5 ... moreYeah. The nexus is really good machine for its price. I prefer it to its other android competition. Really nice specs, good camera and awesome display. I like it, even though I have affinity for iPhones. Even with all the bias against them, I believe my eyes. I haven't seen any lagging iPhone. I'll my friend's new Nexus 5, to see how it behaves after a while.
rohit, 28 Jun 2014thanx guys u opend my eyes.. Now should i go for htc 816 or nexus 5?Men .. Nexus 5.. Its a Native Android!! But..whait to NExus 6 to see :)
Make sure that ;Google Play Services' service is running. Even I faced same problem, I am able to get 4.4.4 on allowing 'Google Play Services' to run
ameya 13, 28 Jun 2014I'm in a double mind now. Which phone should i buy? An iphone 5s or a nexus 5? I didnt like st... more@ ameya13
The iphone 5s will be replaced by the i6 in September, so if you decide on an i5 then wait because the price of the i5 will start falling.
Even so, you could buy two Nexus 5 phones for the price of one iphone.
I like Android because it is an open system. You can change the keyboard, messaging app and other things you don't like to make it look the way you want. The iphone is a closed system, you have to use what Apple give you.
I'm not bashing Apple; I also have an ipod Touch which I like for my music, but I hate the fact that it is tied into iTunes as is the iphone.
If you don't like the Android UI then you can always change it by installing a different Launcher. (Try Smart Launcher PRO 2). With the themes that are available you can even make it look like ios (complete with flat icons)!
At the end of the day it is down to personal choice, but for price and flexibility I would choose the Nexus 5 any day.
