AnonD-263673, 14 May 2014am having confusion whether to buy nexus 5 or xperia z1..kindly review me abt thos.. Even though the Z1 have some nicer features than the Nexus 5, in my opinion they are not worth the price diferrence, and as a Sony Xperia user, I can tell you that Sony abandons supports for their phones quicker than its competitors, as a matter of fact I think they already told they'd leave the Z1 in the next upgrade, so, consider this, because with the Nexus 5 you have a powerful smartphone with direct support from Google, and support for a long time...Hope this will help you

AnonD-263673, 14 May 2014am having confusion whether to buy nexus 5 or xperia z1..kindly review me abt thos.. Z1 scores more in benchmarks but n5 is just as fast in reality. If micro SD and better camera and looks is a must then go for z1. If you hate bloatware, want to be the first to get updates and want an absolute bargain go for n5 - suggest 32gb version if you want more storage space.

I tried two notification light apps - 'Light manager' & 'Light Flow'. I had problems with 'Light Manager' where the notification light would not clear even after I had read the waiting message or after clearing the missed call; it kept on flashing. Each time I had to restart my phone to clear it. 'Light Flow' works perfectly on my N5 however. Some users are complaining that it doesn't work on the N5 but I haven't had any problems. I have set the LED to flash Red for missed calls, Green for missed texts, Cyan for Twitter, Yellow for Gmail, and Purple for Whatsapp; and they all work fine. If the light works with a 3rd party app then it should work without. Just poor programming by Google I suppose.

Just had a missed call - notification light not working - I've read about the light and people are saying sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Its about time the problem was fixed.

This is fr all public to note.
AnonD-43136, 13 May 2014Immersive mode - basically full screen mode where you can get notification bar to disappear. @james79
There is an app named 'Immersive Full-Screen Mode' on the Play Store. I can't add a link because GSMArena wont allow links beginning with https://
There is a warning on the page though:
IMPORTANT: because of an Android limitation, the keyboard will not work while in immersive mode.
So you might be unlucky there.
