Anonymous, 28 Mar 2014does any1 know wht is 2nd generation production of nexus 5, & wht is diff. between 1st gen... moreI know first gen has a loose power button. Mine is a little loose - volume button is perfect tjough. With nexus 4 I think first gens CPU got throttled a little more. Yesterday I had serevere lag on Facebook - is that the app itself or the phone? Its the first bit of lag I've had on my n5.
I think I'm going to take this Google phone back even if I have to pay a $50 restocking fee and find something else with a processor the match because Google is out of control...

SAP, 26 Mar 2014IS this phone a better option than a Samsung galaxy S4 ? Ye it is. The s4 has a snap600 and the nexus 5 has a snap800. Ye it is better. But i does not have a sd card slot. For me that is the only difference.

For wireless charging you will need a QI charging pad and a QI charging receiver. ... moreI've connect my charging plate through a 1.2A connector. So far it's working great, charging from 60% to 90% takes about 20min.
I don't usually charge my battery till 100% and never let it drop below 20%.
my veiw, 25 Mar 2014Apple phones: 4s and 5s are best phones Pros: Best built in Quality and gives some status. IO... moreiPhone is the best phone. Except... if you have iOS 7.1. upgrade. In that case you have no HotSpot (if your operator is not included in Apple partners list). So... May be Apple phone has the best build quality and so on but Apple (company) may play tricks with you any time without any warning. And you can throw out your brilliant iPhone and head to nearest shop for...Nexus 5. N.B. Nowdays internet probably is more important than regular phone call option.
Apple phones: 4s and 5s are best phones
Pros: Best built in Quality and gives some status. IOS (Unique)
Cons: Too Costly, Almost you have to buy every App.
Nokia: All lumia series
Pros: Known for best camera and windows phones.
Cons: Less Apps, slightly difficult to use & thicker phones.
Samsung: S3, Note 2 & Note 3 are best. (S4 is also good but not that great it is having some lags).
Pros: Number of models in all Price range. Lot of features like smart stay, sensors & etc.,
Cons: All looks like same no matter how much money you invest.
Sony: SP and Z series
Pros: Good Built in Quality, slightly cheaper than others, having good camera.
Cons: If you got repairs, simple you have to go for new one means individual parts are too costly.
HTC: One and desire series
Pros: Good built in Quality, great touch sense UI, good speakers and having beat audio.
Cons: very sensitive, battery backup is not good.
LG: Only G series and Nexus series are the best in LG.
Motorola: Moto G and Moto X are the best mobiles.
And other companies I never used them so I am unable to tell.
Note : This is only just my view……….
