Why do I have a Nexus? Because I have a business to run and my suppliers need to be able to contact me at all times. Because I am often out of the office visiting clients and need to be in touch with my staff.
I have to work for a living; I don't have time to sit on the sofa all day playing games on my phone. That's why.

That's true, but 100 years ago man was flying in biplanes; now we travel at the speed of sound. In another 100 years we might be able to fly at the speed of light, but until then we use the best we have got.
In a few years we might have what you suggest, but at the moment the best we have is QI charging.

If there's a possibility to use WIFI kinda technology to charge a battery, meaning no need a charging plate, that's truly wireless charging.

I don't use my phone to play games on. I use it for what it was intended for; to make calls, send texts, and take the occasional photo. If I wanted to play games I would buy a games console.

That's where a good old wall charger comes in handy.

QI charging is not a gimmick. I use this one at home because I use my phone as an alarm clock. The sloping surface is useful for showing the time when the alarm goes off. I wake up with a fully charged phone and all I have to do is lift it off the charging plate.
I also have one that I use at work. When I need the washroom or go out to lunch I just lift it off the plate and take it with me. Simple.
I don't consider QI charging a gimmick. I can't understand why people still use a wall socket, you are so restricted.

go for moto-g 16gb-its budget phone or go for nexus-5, you really feel good after using it in all the ways, both are good in games, internet & no lagging

On the contrary, my phone is not stuck to the wall charger, but to a wireless charger plate.
I got my nexus 5 a couple of weeks ago and truly it is one of the best androids in market .The camera is fine and the battery bug is promised to be fixed soon by the Google with the release of a new update. The screen is awesome and the phone never lags . I would rate it 9.5/10.

Herry_Potter, 20 Mar 2014Is it correct, one of the feature is wireless charging?
If true...wow, sophisticated!@ Herry_Potter
It certainly does. The Nexus 5 already has a QI Wireless Receiving Plate fitted. All you have to do is purchase a QI Charger and away you go. Believe me, once you have tried Wireless Charging your phone will never be tied to a wall charger again.
If you get a call while it is charging you just lift the phone up to take it (and walk around), and then replace it on the plate to continue charging. Wonderful!
