The LG Nexus 5 can't possibly be a bad phone. If you aren't a heavy internet user and only use it for calls, then I do see this device lasting longer.
Also if the company hired by Google slated to produce the Nexus 6 had a slot for a SD card, a better camera, and bigger battery (say 2700 to 3000 mAh), the flagship will be costing somewhere like $600 CAD.

brynn, 10 Dec 2013How are you managing to take temperature, thanks?I remove my phone from the charger if the temperature goes up. Also, never let your battery drop below 20% before charging up. Usually, i just leavey phone on the charging pad & charge it to about 95%, it's not good, in long run, to always charge your battery to 100%.
There are articles on how to prolong battery lifespan, do a search & read up, it's for your understanding & knowledge.
Alex, 10 Dec 2013What about this wireless charging?
I'm not sure if it is gonna be long-term reliable. And ... moreWireless charging works well. There are some articles written on it.
The only benefit i think is that there is no connection between the micro USBs port. So unlikely it will be damage in long run.
As for the battery, it's a built in kind. So if u wanna change it, guess u just bring it to your local LG service center.
