AnonD-193823, 07 Oct 2013few things wrong, its a 1.3 mp front facing, forgot about the ois, there is radio, and 4.95' screen its a 1.3 mp front facing...
What! Are you being serious?
I'm just wondering why the hell Google does want to be like apple's craps...
Wtf non-removable embedded battery, why no sd slot.
These things makes not phone cheaper, only disqusting!
the card slot is necesary, the nexus 4 have 8/16 GB and is very difficult opertate the cellphone with too little memory
its very great phone Nexus 5, 3gb ram, snapdragon 800, I thing need to contain Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and I bealive Nexus 5 best phone for 2013/2014
few things wrong, its a 1.3 mp front facing, forgot about the ois, there is radio, and 4.95' screen
The specs have not been updated. disappointed with the camera specs, was hopping for 13 mega pixels.
lesser body dimensions than nexus 4 but a bigger screen? That will be crazzyyy
8mp plus ois is a good news actualy.and for someone who commented down there looking for a piece of metal surrounding the device, look closer and youll see.. now the design actualy makes me think that this could be a little more expensive than we are expcting
As per your specification Nexus 5 supports to voice dial but as per leaked manual it does not support to voice dial.
everybode would like a "Nexus 5" but with this 5 specs:
1.Display.- CGG 3
2.Memory.- 3gb RAM
3.Chipset.- Snaapdragon 800
4.Camera.- 10 MP
Smartphones, 05 Oct 2013This is a mid-priced phone with high end specs. Don't whine about it not having a 13MP camera ... moreI had hoped that just Apple would go it alone on the nano sim front
With all my security when my first phone has a micro sim that cause problems in putting the sim contacts from the old phone onto the new phone.
If there is a purpose for nano sims I don't know what it is.
Now I have to get a nano sim adapter for my micro sim and if I want to switch sim cards I have to somehow convinnce my OLD network I need a nano sim, without acutally getting a phone
What your read is what you get. This phone isn't made to be your main camera tool and definitely not made to outdo G2. However I believe this one's very affordable. Still I would grab the G2 over this one.
Please update your specs list per leaked service manual.
2GB of RAM
FM Radio - YES
Sorry it's 2 gb ram again n battery issues continues as before and it's a slim down version of lg g2... Hope it may be successful this time
Understandably but unfortunately the Nexus line is a price point mobility device denying it a place as a true topend flagship level device. Specs lack sufficient internal storage not to mention SD Card support. It should also have 3gb or RAM and removable power cell. Baffles me still why Google continues to think the cloud is the same as having onboard storage.
Of course the 8MP primary camera is lacking unless they had used a BSI sensor which they haven't. The LG 8MP setup was OK but doesn't approach the newest 13mp OIS platform. It also appears to be lacking at least one sensor the G2 includes.
Of course by now we know the Nexus was never meant to be a cutting edge top of the line series of smartphones. A pity Google never offered variants from pricepoint model to flagship level.
Its still one sweet device and the first of KitKat phones. Personally I'd root a G2 as there's more to work with on the G2 variants. Yes even with the backside toggles which you get used to using.
Sam, 05 Oct 2013it's gonna be 16MPA new manual has leaked as mentioned on Engadget and Android Police..please rectify the specifications. Thanks
now manual leaked for nexus 5, which will clear all doubts..only 8 MP camera
