Got update in India 5.1.1 yesterday. couldn't not identified any changes
After updating to lollipop the battery performance is gone to the toss. Camera stops working. When chargjng, the phone perfomrnace is very strange. Some apps doesn't work when it is charging. It was a good phone but the performance of this phone after updating to lollipop is unbearable. Google has to come up with something to put the phone working back like how it was working for KitKat.
First impressions.... Ui is lagging, scrolling is horrid... Update to 5.1.1 at your own risk.
hellsangel, 26 May 2015Did anyone receive 5.1.1 in india ?UK sorry.
Just received 5.1.1 OTA. Has anyone experienced any major bugs on this version yet?
Anonymous, 23 May 2015does that mean they consider nexus 6 a failure? if they are planning to release 2nd gen nexus 5Nexus 6 is just way too big... Also it has a battery swelling and bursting issue... Also its camera is not upto the mark and does not give value for money...!!
very poor experience
screen broke within a few weeks of purchase, had to pay 7500 INR or 125$ for repair at local LG service center. Apparently the model had a problem & in US the company replaced screens for free but us Indians are clearly not that valuable
Also battery sucks from day 1
only positive was the price, otherwise not comparable to the apples/samsungs of this world
amir, 25 May 2015camera problem is for viber . remove viber and resart phone . Really? Can anyone confirm this?
I flashed the android 5.1.1 the moment it was posted, next day i still experienced the camera bug so now i rolled back to android 4.4.4 kit-kat and let google get their sh*t together...
its been about one and half year
i still love my nexus 5 it still feels like new phone ,battery was issue but after factory reset battery backup is decent
Zapotec, 21 May 2015Best phone you can purchase. I had 4.4.2 KitKat and it had a battery issue. I updated to 5.1 L... moreAfter 5.1 i noticed my battery was draining like mad, hold it for 2 weeks to see if it would get better but NO, did a factory reset and for my surprise i had a HUGE battery improvment, yesterday it lasted from 6am to 10pm with average use. Browsing, music, texting some calls.

Thats a fake kind of glass, it fell and the screen shattered - what a waste
The phone is generally a great phone. The biggest downfall is the battery life. There was also an issue with the Lollipop but that has been resolved, at least with my phone.
This is the best non-phablet stock android google device you can get. It's light, full hd screen, lte, USB OTG which works! (my nexus 4 sadly doesn't)
overall, you cant go wrong with this phone... it's so popular that even Google brought it back after "discontinuing" it, so that has to count for something :)
with that said i'm excited to see what the 2nd gen of the Nexus 5 will be like, as its rumoured to have similar specs, but updated and a slightly bigger screen @ 5.2inches rather than 5.
that will most likely be my next upgrade from my nexus 4
