Now if this had SD card and removable battery this would replace my note 3.shame makers are going down this road.after 2yrs the phone be rendlous useless after the battery has been throttled.
No OIS, No wireless charging, mediocre storage, No flagship camera, processor, display or even battery. Google you really fucked up the nexus line.
I just want a slim and lightweight phone this year after getting tired of my heavy phablets but all OEMs are disappointing including apple. Any suggestions other than 6 months old S6 edge because it would be the only option for me if no company has a proper slim 7mm or less flagship under weight 135gm.
For 399$ i can buy a moto x pure edition with a quad hd display, stereo speakers, slightly bigger battery, better camera (waiting for camera tests between the two), more RAM, expandable storage, better design and stock android rather than spending 380$ on this phone. I wonder how many people can relate to me. Good luck lg. Lets see how many nexus devices you will sell this year....
nexue fan boy, 29 Sep 2015Moto g3 has better specs than this except for CPU and screen.. y should I buy this...I hope you're being sarcastic...
Basically a LG G4 with no card slot and less RAM, also less poweful battery.
What a joke.

Funny how all the haters complain about stupid stuff. If you don't like it, don't buy it! Pretty simple really!

AnonD-295933, 29 Sep 2015i rather have G2 or G3... with this phone? 808? like meh, its like his brother 8x0Actually 2gb ram us pretty low, 16gb model is the base one ( 12gb usable), and is way expensive at $380.
Silicel, 29 Sep 2015Everyone bitch1n about the 2gb ram is kinda stupid, for the price-point and specs it is more t... moreOf course it never exceeds 1.5GB of ram because it keeps killing background processes.
When will people *get* that android/linux is/are nothing like Windows. Unlike Windows they never find themselves "out of ram" (they simply kill other processes) and unlike windows they never have "too much ram" (they use it for disk-caching, a.k.a. making your system ultra fast).
So yeah, your phone never exceeds 1.5GB, that's why it's ultra-slow even when compared to my $130 phone, merely because I have more Ram than you (3GB) and thus everything is cached in my phone. Paying $400 for a *slow* phone is highway robbery.
Nexus were never good phones, but this one takes the cake. It's hardly better than 3 year old Nexus 4...
2 years ago lg g2 5.2" ( 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9 mm )
today LG Nexus 5 5.2" ( 147 x 72.6 x 7.9 mm )
wtf?! *technological progress*
Too big, no card slot, poor image resolution.
I wish, a new Xperia ZL with 5" in a small size.
I will not buy this phone for one reason only - it's too huge for a 5.2-inch screen!!! 147mm!?!? Seriously? Look at Moto X Play, same size but with a 5.5-inch screen? Just plain terrible design..

Everyone bitch1n about the 2gb ram is kinda stupid, for the price-point and specs it is more than sufficient, my G2 never exceeded using 1.5 gb of ram no matter what I did and that got better when lollipop came out and used less. From what I know marshmallow is also very well optimized and uses the same amount of memory if not less.
The battery also more than sufficient, the 808 is a better chip than what the G2 has and draws less power also the GPU is superior so no complaints there.
As far as storage I do think that 32gb should be the bare minimum or if it is 16gb than it should actually be 16gb and not 11gb or 12gb of actual storage space, as far as micro slot goes I see no reason to be seen on any upper mid to flagship phones.
And finally price wise, if it is anything above 350$ it's not worth it.
