When will the SAR value be known?
Tim, 27 Sep 2015Okay, but more the RAM, more apps can stay in the background, better the multitasking. I hate ... moreHi Tim, I agree, 3GB would be fine, but then the price will go up. I have old nexus 5, it's smooth, fast, gorgeous, and its getting better from every update on. It has already improved performance, battery and camera since 2013. The only thing I would improve is: bigger battery and newer 20 nm processor. That's all. And new nexus is delivering :)
seems that LG don't want competition for their own optimus flagships, hardware specs look like inspired form last year. This one has to be a midranger.
front camera resolution? 1080?
Should I order or not??
AnonD-362271, 30 Sep 2015NO FM Radio, NO SD card!!! What happen with the phone makers.FM Radio? On smartphone? Why would anybody use it?
Was looking to upgrade from Nexus 5 to 5X but just compared the spec. Really!!!
The spec is exactly the same bar an extra 2 processors and a better camera. 2GB RAM which is the same. One word. Disappointed!!!!
2GB of ram .......... completely dissapointed
AnonD-114814, 30 Sep 2015criticize and slam the phone. Iphone sales 6s with non expandable 16 GB memory, irreplaceable ... moreThat's a fair point, and Apple continued use of a 16gb sku is ridiculous!
However I will say this, there is an element of support given to iPhone that not even the Nexus line can match. Consider this, the iPhone 4S, released in 2011 is currently rocking IOS 9.0.1 (the latest version), The Galaxy Nexus by contrast, realised in the same year, was officially abandoned at Android 4.3.
That's right, the similarly aged Galaxy Nexus phone was dumped 4 versions of Android ago, whilst it's iPhone rival from that same generation continues to be supported.
No I'm not saying this excuses or justifies the high premium Apple charge for their iPhone line (I happen to think those prices should be considerably lower) but Apple customers can at least be guaranteed software support long after any Android customers can (even those of the Nexus line).
NO FM Radio, NO SD card!!! What happen with the phone makers.
2GB RAM ????? Seriously??
I would definitely buy this phone on the first day if it has 3GB RAM.
regs, 29 Sep 2015Ultra cheap plastic for ultra cheap $90 phone. Same for display. If it would cost $90, the no ... moreBut the looking is better at least imo..
AnonD-446317, 30 Sep 2015this is a damn joke, right? I bought my Nexus 5 for 350€ back in 2013, and now they want me to... morecriticize and slam the phone. Iphone sales 6s with non expandable 16 GB memory, irreplaceable battery of 1700 mAh miserable, and for twice the price of nexus 5x .
does it have otg support
this is a damn joke, right? I bought my Nexus 5 for 350€ back in 2013, and now they want me to pay 479€ for +0.2", some more mAh and slightly better camera? They should better fix TONS of bugs in the Android framework that one encounters daily as an Android dev.
This is one MID-range phone that i really fail to understand why is eveybody so hyped about.. Except running Marshmallow, this phone has nothing worth getting so excited for..
Plus it's but-ugly..
Keep your cloud away Google!
