2 years ago lg g2 5.2" ( 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9 mm )
today LG Nexus 5 5.2" ( 147 x 72.6 x 7.9 mm )
wtf?! *technological progress*
Too big, no card slot, poor image resolution.
I wish, a new Xperia ZL with 5" in a small size.
I will not buy this phone for one reason only - it's too huge for a 5.2-inch screen!!! 147mm!?!? Seriously? Look at Moto X Play, same size but with a 5.5-inch screen? Just plain terrible design..
i rather have G2 or G3... with this phone? 808? like meh, its like his brother 8x0
Everyone bitch1n about the 2gb ram is kinda stupid, for the price-point and specs it is more than sufficient, my G2 never exceeded using 1.5 gb of ram no matter what I did and that got better when lollipop came out and used less. From what I know marshmallow is also very well optimized and uses the same amount of memory if not less.
The battery also more than sufficient, the 808 is a better chip than what the G2 has and draws less power also the GPU is superior so no complaints there.
As far as storage I do think that 32gb should be the bare minimum or if it is 16gb than it should actually be 16gb and not 11gb or 12gb of actual storage space, as far as micro slot goes I see no reason to be seen on any upper mid to flagship phones.
And finally price wise, if it is anything above 350$ it's not worth it.
So Google has doubled APK size limit just in time for release of a 2015 superphone with only poxy 16/32GB storage, marvelous. It would cost a few pounds extra to fit 64/128 GB since it is 2015 this is not apple you know.
looking good... but i'm a little disappointed, same RAM as the original nexus 5, not only that less ppi for a bigger screen; meaning is not gonna be as sharp as the original one. WTF!
dam_dj26, 28 Sep 2015We are at end of 2016 now. and you still using 2 year back specification. 2 GB ram for seriously.Totally agree, and for android 2gb is a bare minimum. + if the CPU's are 64bit, i see no reason not to go with 4gb+
my guess would be, that they made too many chips and need to use them all up...
I have Nexus 5, i love it, hope 5X will be grat too, I am considering to upgrade to 5X! Like Nexus 6 too, but it is too big!
rodib, 27 Sep 2015why not 3gb?I thinks its gonna be 3 GB, cause two gigs is not much these times

rodib, 27 Sep 2015why not 3gb?Why not 32Gb? Because 2Gb is cheaper, and this will be a cheap phone.
Anonymous, 27 Sep 2015Damn sure the final specification will impress all on September 29th Yep we will fully know about 5pm here in UK but it is still BST so could be 6pm. Money is here ready to buy. Only other phone keeping eye on is Sony Z5 Compact and new Wileyfox Androids.
Tim, 27 Sep 2015Okay, but more the RAM, more apps can stay in the background, better the multitasking. I hate ... moreThis is the dev phone and has to last till next year who knows what will happen. This should be top spec. That said the Nexus is always behind I remember my Nexus S and just them few months later dual core cpu's arrived and Nexus S was outdated.
I had 512 Ram BLU $77 on sale and is about the same as my screen crashed Nexus 4. For $400 Nexus 5X - I will wait for the sales goes to amazon next year(46% off) or maybe 2016 5X. Good luck Sundar and Nexus.

AnonD-243573, 26 Sep 2015Of course 2GB of RAM. Anything more is rubbish. Expensive rubbish. Run some tests on your phon... moreOkay, but more the RAM, more apps can stay in the background, better the multitasking. I hate it when you switch to an earlier app, and there it goes loading again. Minimum 3 GB should have been there, seriously. I am disappointed, although I am going to buy one, I won't be that excited.
