I know you have been of great help to numerous people here which makes me think of you as more or less a Lg client, however, this goes beyond your experience with android os It's the 4x hd as a phone withoutwhich your help could likely be viewed as irrelevant. People come here and complain how extremely warm their phone gets which isn't just negligible, and you come here and tell then to keep quiet it's normal s3 does it also onex is even worse.
Ok to make matters worse, look how u summed it up, "you re fairly sure it'll get 4.1jb update. Why re u fairly sure?isn't the 4x capable of running 4.2 and 5.0? Did i mention 4.1 in my post even.?
Now u can see why i think you are interference so much on the 4x page. Don't get me wrong i still like the 4x as much as i like Lg and i might still get it but only if i see a good reason to.

Anonymous, 25 Nov 2012i read that the battery performance became beter after the software update (v10F), so i want t... moreI'm in India v10 e which I think its equivalent to Europe v10 f.... but browsing time is only 3.30 hours and video playback is around 5.50 hours and in WiFi its about 5.50 hours of browsing. ... in gaming it won't stand more than 1.30 hours.

i read that the battery performance became beter after the software update (v10F), so i want to ask: is it significantly better? if it was 4 hours browsing and 5 hours of video, how much is it now? and another thing: is the problem with the contnious autofocus better now?

I have an optimus 4x hd, unfortunately i can't watch TED talks, because videos stop streaming after 01:30 usually, same as at TED Air app.
Do anybody have same issue? What is wrong about my phone? Thanks...

there is no camera flaw the camera was fixed in v10c and was fixable before that by simply downloading the LGcamera app from the play store for free.
its just a bad excuse to make the phone look bad.
as for software im fairly sure the phone will get 4.1 even tho it does not need it because it has no important new features (4.2 does as it fixes some battery related issues).
google releaseing osses this fast also isnt helping.
and once more the heat is no issue its just a result of 4 cores and some apps using all for cores to the max even tho they dont need it.
this is something LG cant fix its something that needs to be fixed in the OS itself and this means fixed by google.
we went from single core to quad core so fast that dual and quad cores arent fully optimized in the os yet and thats causing all kinds of issues.
and yes the tegra 3 gets a little warmer then the S3 because its a 45nm chip instead of a 32 like the samsung and this is fully nvidias fault as they wanted to be a cheapass as always.
but really in the end even at its hottest these phones are nowhere near overheating.
ive not checked if 5.0 will have some real quad core improvements (which means less heat) but i know 4.2 helps a little as its not loading all 4 cores when only 1 or 2 cores at half speed are needed.

LG user, 24 Nov 2012earlier my phone is not getting that much heat but recently even in wifi phone gets hot upto 4... moretry checking your apps some apps keep the cpu busy or keep wifi'3g on which results in a warming cpu.
theres a boatload of bad apps in the store that dont really go idle.

Although i wanted a tegra3 handset, but i'm begining to doubt Lg's pattern lately. I dont want to get stuckd wit one single version of os cos i paid lot of grams for it. I could get over the camera flaw but this heat issue certainly makes me sick and i dont base my belief about a phone on youtube reviews cos they hardly tell the bitter truth about phones. As regards its rival galaxys3, i was stunned. To my big surprise There isn't just any heat issues with the phone. This is no joke. my big brother owns it, played temple run, gta racing, fifa2012 for some 45mins, streamed videos for some 50mins yet phone remained Cool and battery at 85%. I'm Talking from real life experience. But i just don't like the s3, probably becaus i wanted something different. Bottomline, If i must get this handset, I'll need android 4.2 jellybean and extensively 5.0keylime pie on it. lg pls wise up we love you.

People should stop mentioning heat...
this is a quad core phone they do get hot all of them!
and batterys also get hot while charging this is also normal.
if you dont want a warm stot on your device get a 500 mhz single core phone.

people need to stop focussing on updates past 4.0 theres only small improvements possible (apart from a big battery improvement which will nog come for a long time.
(i still think LG needs to comminicate tho they improved there phones with the reorginization but they still fail to talk to customers).
