Have you ever used one of LG's phone? you should find out why LG cannot win over other companies. After Optimus 2X (first dual core phone) failure, some people claimed that LG Optimus 4X HD (one of the first quad core phones) would be successful. but u can see now how many problems and complaints it has. I wonder why there's no info about how many LG optimus 4X HD has been sold worldwide. the only phone which has been the great success for LG so far is LG optimus LTE.(has been sold around 4 millions only). i'm not talking about software update; but i'm talking about quality itself. Yeah some of people here will say" hey everything is not perfect.it's a phone and smart phones these days always have problems bla bla bla". but make sure you buy a phone which has less problems.

Hai pino.i would like to have ur opinion,coz it seems like u know a lot of thing about lg phone.i want to buy a new phone,so my choice is of coz lg brand coz I love lg design.so in my list I have nexus 4,O4xhd, OG n OL9.for me,i just using phone for call,sms,browsing,music n watching video.im not really into gaming so I dont care if that phone is not good in gaming.i prefer long lasting battery n as cheap as possible based on my list above.so which one is the best??thanks in advance :-)

But after examining both devices, I have sticked to Optimus. And I am not disappointed at all. Maybe sound is really better at Note 2, because it has good audiochip. But after installing Beats Audio driver I can say that sound from headphones is good enough, with juicy bass and vocal. As to speaker - it always been ok.
Optimus true IPS screen is noticeably better, than Galaxy Note 2's not-an-amoled-but-not-too-good.
I have 10f firmware.

Don't believe some of the owners here. Actually, so far there are 3 main weaknesses: bad camera, poor battery, and poor audio. my brother just sold it out.

But thanks "pino" for your advices to all of us .. They are always helpfull .. But please be more kind while you answer some of our questions .. I know that some posts tell wrong stuffs about the phone .. But others ask about real problems that may face us using the phone ..
And in general, I love the phone and it is so beautiful to be held and used :)

It is a very good phone .. And its price is the best as regard to other devices with the same specifications .. I love it :)

Often lag during gaming, audio from loudspeaker is MUCH like a c... moreyou mopst likely had a old firmware or some other app screwing preformance asa this phone can handle any game maxed out on 2 cores and the heatin isnt a problem its the reality of a quad core...
the audio is fine for others so if yours isnt working you either screwed up the software or did something wrong or your phone is broken which is unlikely.
people should stop blaming lg for something that may verry well be there own fault due to being ill informed about the workings of the smartphone.

this phone is totally a mess. Often lag during gaming, audio from loudspeaker is MUCH like a crap, heating problem annoys me, and the most totally unacceptable thing was.... It didn't support the most anticipated game for me (such as NEED FOR SPEED & PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER from 'blackmart') ! I'll trade in this into Galaxy Note 2 next year, no doubt of it ! Farewell LG, 'LIFE WAS NOT ALWAYS GOOD AS U PLANNED..'

Quite a mess, there is CWM installation part, but I would not risk. There was a system freeze, I needed to re-flash device after this. So I just installed apk (version 2.3.1)

I have used many players on android and believe me the stock lg player and power amp are great on this phone. Upgrade yr software to 10f and root yr device then remove some lg stock apps and u will fall in luv with this phone.
