I tried the phone , first thoughts 1.out dated design , 2.choppy browsing experience 3. A copy cat of allot of features from Samsung touch wiz especially camera features 4. Icons design is a big disappointment I would give it 3.5/10

Dual core 1.5 GHz krait with Snapdragon S plus is doing much better, able to transmit 41mbs 3g data speed,
capable of video recording even upto 1080 per@60fps.

Woh ! Very very good phone after along gaps from LG.
Everything running smoothly, scrolling, multitasking, net browsing on GPRS too is very smooth.

Can u tell me how can i costum the ram and how can i ... morei assume you ment rom instead of ram but either ay you cannot change it fornow as the phones bootloader is still not unlocked and it looks like it wont happen at all at this point.
but if you want your android to look different or have some other features id say go and check out some boot loaders.
you can find several for free in the store.
they add different slide effects and other stuff and if you dont like it you can simply remove them :)
dont install more then 1 at a time tho i had some issues with that so its better to check them out 1 by 1 just to be save.
as for disabling cores this is still in a experimental stage theres tonnns of app that can do it but only few that can do it without root.
but atm it seems to give more problems then that it helps you as your trying to double manage the cores (android already tries it also) which can lead to crashes.
so fir it to work perfectly you need a custom rom without the core mangement build in.

Public demand is there but has availability issue.
LG should push hard this Optimus 4x hd and made it available abundantly in all the global markets.
