I was so annoyed that i have send it back to amazon for a replace for another unit.Before i did that i was calling to lg support and they were not aware of the problem telling me to send it to amazon, so i did. That way LG will notice there is a problem and they will fix it once they notice many returns, they will rush for a fix.
The new one will come with the same problem, i am sure, but once they will start to notice the reasons of the returns from angry customers they will be rushing an update to fix it.
The next 4x is coming to me next week, i will keep you informed.

lg 4x hd has a great video recording... autofucus is not a problem in my lg 4x... its doing good...

I really don't understand why a high end Android smartphone like this one (and the Galaxy S II before it) doesn't have a notification light (even the mid range Motorola Defy has one). You see, i'm already very used to a notification light, so it's omission will be a thing i will miss, at least for the first days of use. Sure, it is not, by any means, a deal breaker, but the presence of a notification light would have made this already awesome handset perfect in my book.

But beware of the video. I you find the same problem, then contact LG support in y... moreyup, at 1st i thought the update was meant to fix the AUTO-FOCUS PROBLEM, but nope it's not.
just don't understand how can this AUTO-FOCUS PROBLEM pass the Quality Control Process before hitting the market. coz am sure the PROBLEM is pretty obvious. LG should have fixed it right away IF they want to kill buyer's doubt on this product. just saying.

It means - Loud Speaker is loud but averag... moreHTC via loudspeaker scored 80.7
LG 4X via loudspeaker scored 81.6
Galaxy S3 was the best about 92.6
But that is for the stereo crosstalk, the rest of the test didn't go much on favor of the 4X.
But to be fair, for me the quality I get with my headphones RHA or the Bob Marley is good enough for me. My galaxy s2 didn't shine with the headphones and I prefer the overall balance I get with the LG, but I repeat over the headphones.
I have a portable sony MP3 player that can't be beated by any phone.
For me and after using for a while the htc xe beats during the last year, I found that the bass enhancement when connected with the bundled "beats" headphones was a bit of too much, and noticed that I couldn't hear some trebbles and acutes that I could hear on my sony, so I was very convinced by the HTC quality sound I have to say. So I wouldn't recomended to buy just because of the music, and also the battery was absoutely rubbish on that htc, that made me think to changed for the s2, and now that I have upgrade my Galaxy s2 to the LG I do not regret at all, I just need to get fixed the video focus issue to make this the perfect phone I have ever had, wch it is actually. I can't even think on going backward to my S2, not even for a second.
