fat doesnt only limit partition size but also file size on the partition. just use NTFS and it should work.

Stay with 4.0.3 or manually update the software with your LG Suite via your computer.

Already did that but the card is now dead, i tried it on another 2 smartphones ( samsung S4 and Nokia lumia 520). This is the second time this happens to me, with this phone. The first card blacked out after almost 2 weeks, just like this one. I believe it might be an incredible coincidence to get 2 bad microSDhc cards from the same supplier. It's very frustrating.

Calls don't go out (the phone just says "connecting"), when someone tries to call me they get "cannot connect to number", SMS won't send, and no SMS comes in. I have to restart the phone and then it works... for a while, until I have to restart it again.

This is NOT about signal strength like someone suggested - I live in the same place where I used my last phone, I have the same SIM card, I've never had problems with signal strength before AND the signal is full four bars.
Plus, if it was about signal strength, how would restarting the phone fix it? And both internet connection and WiFi work, it's only the calls and SMS, both ways.
