I really liked that phone, but it's not the only LG I have problems with. The L5 II that I bought for my wife was sent to repair with mic issues and now it restarts itself. Two different phones bought in the same period, none I can use. I never sent any phone to repair before. Sorry, but this is too much for me.

this isnt a hardware failure nore a software issue its just not supported as its not ment for the region its imported to.

as... moreOk, I decided to send it to service. The GPS is total crap. I don't want to root the phone to get GPS working, I want it to work.
Tested side by side with Samsung S4, the S4 worked fine, mine lost signal.
Tested with another LG L5 II. L5 worked, mine didn't lock at all. And if S4 is a lot more expensive, the L5 is way cheaper. In the end, I don't care how cheap it is, or how good it is on paper. If it doesn't work it's crap. Sorry!

do you see blocks in the video or something else.
if you see blocks its most likely a codec issue on your pc.
as for video quality the quality is descent but dont expect miracles its a phone with video functions not a video camera.

It's an pretty good, really fast, can handle any game since it's 4 core and according to the specs it is better than Galaxy SIII and 0.1 GHz behind the S4. Best phone I've ever had.

Hey can anybody help with selection i need this for HD videos becsuse in my samsung SII plus isn't good with video 1080P, when I play a video its start blocking, so i wanna know is this phone good for HD VIDEOS?

Is nobody else receiving ota update v20b? It just poppet up on my phone and I download it over the air. It is snappier and battery lasts longer.It looks simpler and more free ram.I think I'm getting back performance that I lost when I upgraded from 4.03 to 4.1.2

AnonD-178225, 23 Aug 2013There won't be an offial upgrade to 4.2.2, if you you really want it you're going to have to r... moreroot wont allow you to flash firmware you will have to update firmware to a eu open rom and unlock the bootloader.
then you can flash roms.
and lg has never made the statement they will or will not release 4.2.2 but in all honesty there is no point to even install 4.1 so why would we want 4.2.2 that uses even more ram for useless features ?

you can also try a factory reset to see if this fixes the lags.
rooting is a known couse for cousing a phone to lag.
i personaly advice to always do a backup and a factory reset before rooting or changing firmware.
if the problem stays try to reflash the firmware.

Is it good enough for internet, photography & vid... morei still think its a great phone but then again im still on 4.03 there are a few issues with 4.1 which seems to be handed out now but still its a great phone for its price and undefeated in price preformance/specs by miles.
