Hello All,
Currently Im using LG 4X HD,
Everything is good except two major things (Battery drain + Camera poor quality)
Front camera is just okay for normal taking pictures, but very bad for video calling on vtok or skype etc.
I found that the video quality is so dark and not clear, the other people cant see your face..

Is it everyone have that problem?

AnonD-126784, 19 Mar 2013Guys please help ?? is this mobile good for high-end gaming ? cause I'm willing to buy it and ... morephones are NOT gaming devices and NONE of them will be good for it unless your satisfied with 2 hours game time.
this is like this with every phone out there.

and the lagging isnt the tegra3's fault but its the lzy ass game devs that cant be bothered to make a proper game for the tegra 3.

so you have to choose battery time or gaming.
they simply do not go together onot on this phone ore on any other phone out there.
batterys simply cant support the power.
the same is true with laptops you cannot game on them as the battery drains within a hour.

so you are gonna have to make sacrefices.
you can get a gigantic 20.000 mah battery pack for 20 euro of ebay for example or you have to charge a lot.
but heavy user + gaming + long battery life wont happen in this decade.

krassi, 19 Mar 2013Thank you for your responce pino :) But how do I disable maps? I barely use it.And is It bet... moreif you have a limited data play its ALWAYS wise to limit data use to about 25 mb less then your data plan is.
this because providers tend to round up to a mb.

so day you use 9.6 mb today they wound it up to 10 mb so you lose 0.4 mb.
if you do this 30 times a month you can lose up to 25 mb and you dont really want to pay for 25 mb out of a bundel as thats generaly verry expencive.

to dusable maps for to settings > applications > right tap ALL apps. > scroll to Maps and open it >klick the top right button to disable maps.

Soyam, 19 Mar 2013I am getting lg optimus 4x hd and lg google nexus 4 8gb at the same price, which one should I ... morewel the nexusis better on most specs (2gb ram better cpu) but the 4x hd has more rom space which is only really important if you play a lot of games as games are big and hog space and the nexus does NOT have a sd slot.
alsp if you take lots of pics ad make videos the 4x hd once more has a advantage due to 16 gb and a sd slot.

so if you dont game its a nobrainer the nexus 4 is better specwise if a limited 8gb memory doesnt bother you.

if you like taking pics and shoot videos or play games a lot you are better off with the 4x hd and it supports 64 gb sd card for videos and fotos and has 16 gb internal rom for games and apps.
you could still go for the nexus for its slghtly faster cpu up to date roms and 1gb ram extra but youd have to connect it to the pc a LOT to sync data and empty your phone.
and whats the use of having a lot of pictures if they are on your pc rather then your phone.

hope this info helps you decide :)

this isnt just on the lg but on all android phones and is something google needs to fix.
if you dont use it id disable it.

settings > apps > all > mapps > disable

and do the same for street view if you dont use it.

suds, 19 Mar 2013Amazing phone..My phone battery drains rapidly as soon as I enable data services.. can anybody... morehow good is your signal? poor signal might lead to excessive battery draining due to the phone trying to connect to the prividers service.

you can also try to firce manual netword choice rather then automaticly.

if this problem doesnt occur on wifi then it must be something with your 3s however if this also happens on wifi ten there must be a bad app abusing your internet usage.

malaysian buyer, 18 Mar 2013hi. do you think this phone is still worth buying now? coz in my country lg phone is not popul... moreif the LG fits your price range you wont find a better phone anytime soon for this price.
new phones all will be almost doube the price except for many the L7 II but that wont be available till july and is a dual core.

as far as im concerned if you want 4.7 inch the lg 4x hd and upcoming L7 II are the only phones to keep inmind the rest fall in a whole different price range.

the L7 will be about 15 to 20 % cheaper i expect but theres noone will know if it will be without errors or other issues.
we all know how good the 4x hd is.
so if you dont fancy a gable and want to wait you really wont be disapointed :)
