What are the improvements, does anybody know?-warning when putting out high vollume trough headphones (most likely because of EU laws).
-fixed some issues with google maps and google navigation app closing/restarting.
-and more camera autofocus tweaks.
not sure the camera needed more autofocus tweaks but im interested n the results.
according to some people you need to use the LG suite to update this firmware just for people trying to update the phone.

noliop, 05 Dec 2012hi pino got wireless charger for lg 4xive not see any wireless (induction) chargers for the 4x HD but me not seeing them does not mean they do not excist.
however LG did announce (might be released already) the The Wireless Charging Pad WCP-700 which might just also work for the 4x HD.
biut i personaly think this is unlikely unless they do mention that the chip reader will no longer be working.
this is because a wireless charger needs a new cover with battery and with the 4x hd this means the antenna for the chip reader is no longer attatched to the phone.
on top of that these solutions are a easy 80 to 100 dollar/euro.
i wouldnt pay that price specialy because thye LG is verry complatible with lots of easy docking stations due to the usb port being on the bottom and cost a fraction of the price.
so maby it will become availeble but it seems unlikely the chip reader will still be there and even if they introduce one it will be expencive.

try contacting your provider and see if they have a coverage map for your location.
3g signal strengts indoor is oftel much weaker then outdoors also so try and see if theres a indoor/ourdoor difference.
if ti works outside in the open without high buildings arround then you just have a poor signal or maby your concrete walls with wires in them are blocking the signal.

hey guys n PINO i need ur help.. i want to buy sd card 64g.. but i heard from seller said that 64g will slow lg 4x down.. it it true... how slow it will be... and does lg have usb charger it like connect to the extension??

i have an issue with my lg optimus. my network provider work with 1900 mhz 3g but i am having problems with this. The phone reach the h+ conexion (or signal) but it constantly fall down to GSM and EDGE. Please let me know why is this is happening. Sorry for my bad english. Thks

while I'm using data... if any call comes data gets disconnected and I have to restart the phone to get data work....even airplane mode doesn't work

I use my p880 for calls text,Email.and internet surfing,And... moreno it seems rooting isnt usefull for you.
and no thats not weird the stock app for phoros and movies is better as its optimized for the hardware.
the LGcamera suggestion is mainly for poeple that have problems with focus but it might deliver slightly less quality.

but some people seem to report times up to 2 minutes.
maby its due to the location they live.
theres tools and apps about for a faster gps fix that seem to work for some people maby you should play with that personaly i dont mind waiting a minute or 2.
being in a hurry only kills you faster :)

While Using Google maps in lg Optimus 4x it is taking too much time to get GPS lock... Is it expected?.... How much time it is taking for u to get gps lock....

I use my p880 for calls text,Email.and internet surfing,And in my work for reading PDFs and sometimes edit office docs.and of course I use camera. never games.I looked at the stock apps in my phone and cant see anything that I don't use.I have too rely on my phone at work.So rooting is not for mee i guess?
I installed Lg camera app that You recommended. and for some reason taking pictures with stock software are better.Is that possible,is there a connection there? Or is It me? hmm.strange

the bad is it can actualy get slower and you have now full acces to your phone so you have a bigger risk in killing (bricking) your phone.
your also capable of getting viruses easyer that can spread your information (contacts and passwords) or kill your phone in the worst case.
ofcourse you also lose warrantee.
pros are that you can run soe apps that only run with root like superuser and some features in some apps. like some backup apps and apps that modifys the or or features of the os.
biggest advantage of roting is there for people who wought a branded phone that is full of provider crap apps that might slow down the phone.
with root you can delete these apps.
do keep in mind that there apps arent availeble in the play store so once deleting you might not be able to get them back.
remember that most of the time some of these can be disabled anyway so it would only get you a few mb space.
personaly only superuser would be a reason for rooting as i like to change slide delays and effects (lower them for a even smoother ui).
if rooting is for you depends on your phone and if your willing to void warrantee.
just see what you want changed in your phone and research if this can be done at all and if it needs root or just a new app to add/remove the feature.
