I Had this phone till about a week or a week and half ago
I used it as my 2nd and backup phone (some music and video or pictures and E-mail checking and one or two games) and it worked actually very good
One of the very great phones that a great company released

Please i just got the LG P970 in Ghana, but when i insert sim card it says i have to enter the network code. Because of that i cant use the phone.
Please what should i do? Can you please help me for the network code?

Assuming it is running Android 4.x (if not, you should do updates, ideally install a mod with the latest Android version available for your phone), Threema looks like a serious competitor to whatsapp, as far as paid-for alternatives are concerned (the advantage being that you can invite friends by offering them the app). Otherwise, plenty of "free" options are available, depending on your and your friends' tastes and motivation to change: some provide more emoticons, some more privacy, some none of the former, but may be used by more people you know. Else unlimited texting is a fall-back - as long as it is available and affordable in your country (by texting, I mean legacy SMSes).

Just found out this Optimus Black has a very powerful bass audio output through the earphone jack. Way powerful and fuller low frequency thump than some flagship handsets.

the phone is awesome...av been using it for five years now and haven't repaired it once..jst that its android version jst too low for new apps.

It is a great phone of execellent quality, it still works perfectly after almost 5years. Although the battery and ram capacity is not so enough for today's use, it's still competent for phone calls and playing music.
