The best phone there is. It's the ultimate droid. Iphone sucks infront of it. Go LG

Looks to be the ultimate phone, just hope the rumours of poor LG software update and support are a thing off the past.
Dragon948, 13 Sep 2012In terms of specs cpu, ram, camera & battery this is THE BEST PHONE of the year (or in mob... morei agree with you but at some point, i would like to add that the Adreno 320 GPU provides a better looking graphics on this phone than the Mali-400 of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2! Mali-400 can even be beaten by Adreno 225 currently used by the flagship devices of Sony newly released! i agree that now, LG is trying to improve their customer service and updates on their devices' softwares. i can't wait to get my hands on this bad boy! might wanna buy the white version especially if this has a glass backpanel and crystal-like back! ^_^
I hope this kills the IPhone5 hype since this would be released earlier.
LG, generations ahead of the "copy cat" pack. They introduce and bring in new features that later become the staple in other droids. ONE SILENT UNMENTIONED TRUTH: LG Battries Last Longer than the competition.
what abt Xiaomi Mi-Two ?
it costs only 315 but only has a 8 mp camera and 16 Gb storage
Anonymous, 14 Sep 2012You compare different generations of phones, when you had that LG phone, phones were really di... moreHaha, of course I'm comparing different generations, technology improves everyday so it'd be moronic of me to think that the touchscreen is the same as then. I used to own an LG Renoir which didn't even implement Android. So in other words, the software experience was so-so. Seeing how far LG has come, makes it very tempting for me to give it another shot.
Truthfully, the LG didn't produce very attractive phones in the past, but with their recent ones... they look more refined and sleek. They are willing to spend more time on tweaking it physical features to give it a more premium look and feel. I might sound greedy, but I wish they used their 1080p screens like they did for their 5 inch screen that was previously shown. But that probably needs more time for testing. But seeing how the earlier leaks of the phone looks a little different from what the poster looks like, it makes me a little hopeful. Maybe a 4.7 inch with 1080p. Surely I'd have someone say "Why would you need a screen resolution like that on a small screen like this?" Because it's so "resolutionary".
So many people were astounded by the new ipad's (sorry I'm comparing a tablet with a smartphone) screen, showered the display with compliments. And seeing how Apple used it as their slogan, it was the most attractive selling point to attract customers and to stand out from the rest of its competitors. I still have my ipad and ipad 2 because I donít see the need to upgrade (Iím interested in Nexus 7 with its stock Jelly Bean though). Currently, the majority of the tablet market has a resolution of 1280x800 on a 10 or so inch screen with some manufacturer's bumping its new products to 1080p, (Asus, Acer, Huawei etc...) There wouldnít be anything wrong if LG really did. LG is really trying to be innovative.
Oh well, letís stop my randomness of spouting these thoughts. I'll have my fingers-crossed for even more boosts. Even if it doesn't, it's not going to change the fact there's a 50/50 of me getting a Note II or this one.
(Itís so much easier to talk about something Iím interested it. Ramble, ramble, ramble. )
I remember dealing with Goldstar prior to LG (luckygoldstar) in the 1990's and it was a company dedicated to building quality then. Until 2 days ago I was a massive apple fan iMacs, iPads, IPods and apple tv are already in our home, it all works together nicely. My wife has the iPhone 4 and loves it, so I was looking forward to placing my order for a Apple iPhone 5 today. Anyway after all the hype I was disappointed to see that there was no killer feature this time (if there was it was not suitable for me) maybe I missed something. The one thing I do like is the build quality and how the iPhone is machined during its manufacture.
This has left me to start looking at the competition. By coincidence I spoke to a Samsung employee about the iPhone (he is also a student at Manchester Business School and a really nice chap) anyway his advice was wait and see. What this has made me do is hold off and look at the competition. That's how I ended up here.
Both Samsung and LG are where Apple were years ago with there computers. People that used Apple knew they had a better product than those using Pc's but it took time to convert to Apple products. At one point they were geeky and not trusted even though they were virus free and almost faultless in construction.
Samsung and LG are doing the same as Apple. They are making high specification products that people now want to buy over the competition.
Apple products are good but Apple won't stay top for eternity.
I want a Lg Optimus G and I am a big Apple fan!
Maybe Samsung will trump it with a better phone within a year but I'm due for a change now and right now this is the Daddy of phones.
I notice it beat the Samsung Note 2 which i really want and S3 in benchmark score. I was like Whaaat? I waited for a year to get the s3 decided to wait for the i phone5 didnt like it. I just want a bigger screen and a quadcore. The i phone5 is legit dou. I did my researched and i notice the Xperia T is a beast to and now i see this damn. It all comes down to s note 2, LG G. And Xperia T or SL in USA.
are you kidding?
I might buy Nokia or Htc or Samsung or apple but not LG. I never will buy LG. Am I felo-de-se to really do this??
[deleted post]Ya, You are absolutely right. . . They are the technology innovators. . . they made the 1st touch screen phone, 1st dual core phone, 1st 3d phone etc,. etc,. . . they need not to copy from others. . . now they have also improved in providing the updates. . . all the best LG. . .

The GNote2 will probably be better than Optimus G when it comes to sales and popularity and also wow factor. Just my opinion and cheers.

Touchscreen phones were only starting to get noticed, and of course they weren't that good. But don't forget that LG was the company who made the first touchscreen phone. And then you got an iphone who is much better because it has a different software. Apple appeared on the phone market only after the touchscreen was launched.
