I use nokia & lg phone side by side..my old optimus 2x never disappointed me..now i own that phone..it is fantastic...batteryback up good & powerful.. Lg life is great...

The Xperia Z looks washed out and too much white whilst Optimus G is very neutral. The HTC One has poor camera and the Optimus G keeps winning in every area...
Also the recharge time for Optimus G is like an hour and half to get to full not like 3~4hrs for HTC One.

In terms of battery life, perhaps you are in poor reception area? I can vouch 150% for the 2 day battery life on mine and have repeated it several times. Maybe your device is an early version release as mine is built March 15, 2013.

Did many thing like activate my eco mode, turn internet off in.night, use 2x battery. Also put brightness only 30%. I guess it might because i do internet many times. Internet consume battery very hard!!

they are pretending to have this phone and, they are giving bad impressions to this phone,
i know some of them...
i have one of this phone and its really fantastic...
my batterylife is awesome 2 days of normal use,
7 hours of videopalyback...
and over 6 hours of straight web browsing
no heat issue ,
everything are smooth and excellent...
excellent camera & video hd!

"There is a single LED flash, but as usual it won't be of much help in most low-light situations." I would very much like to contest this statement. Being an Optimus G user for the past two months, one of the things that I am probably most proud of would be the LED flash. Don't believe? Pit all the 13 megapixel shooters together and test the flash strength. So far I have only managed to compare the Optimus G against the Xperia Z, and the flash alone beats the Xperia Z hands down.

dr.prateek, 17 Apr 2013I did the mistake of not charging my phone fully for the first time.how significantly does it ... moreDoesn't affect it a single bit. The first charge thing is only there because the battery isn't always fully charged from the factory and/or it loses charge by the time it gets to you, so you don't want it dying on you while you're installing apps/syncing.
