hello! this phone is awesome! :D
but i'll just ask on how to upgrade
this phone into ICS? is it possible?
if possible where should i go for
goodygumdrops, 11 Jan 2013Someone please help me cnt save things to my sd card in lg e400 really starting to cheese me off :@You cannot transfer apps to your sd card. Apps like app2sd won't even work. If your System memory becomes full, you have no choice but to only transfer it to the Internal Memory. SD card as storage for apps is impossible unless your phone is rooted (which then voids the warranty)
mig 29, 20 Jan 2013great phone ... whether they will get an upgrade to ICSyou can install ics legitimately
Anonymous, 19 Jan 2013games are not good at allThe phone is so much good :D
i was able to root my phone... and this is what i can do..
+ I can install more great apps
+ free up more ram (by freezing some Built in apps and some background running services) ~~ i got 130MB free ram! while using GoLauncher,
+Battery (well i just notice that when i start disabling some running services my battery last longer)
- Voids warranty
+(but hey i can UNROOT my phone.. =P)
Technically : must have
Practically : a thick silicon rubber case enclosure and pin-point connectors would make it a very must have.

Camera is fine in bright sunlight, dull and grainy at night (no flash).
Watching films is OK, but I agree with previous comments, for the occasional film is fine, but ideally requires larger screen. Youtube streaming via WiFi went very well, no lag.
Quality of speaker for phone calls good in my opinion. Perfectly legible (even from abroad).
I like all the games I can install from Google, pity about the requirement for a Google+ account to post a review, I'm already signed up to enough sites with the Google account in my opinion.
Owned LG E-400 about 3 weeks now, O2 PAYG.
Points I have noted: ensure screen protector does not cover proximity sensor (to right of LG logo on face of phone) otherwise screen may remain black at end of calls (hence difficult to end call). Successfully installed Final Fantasy III, Zombie Highway, AVG Antivirus from Google Play. GTA III installed but does not run for me.
Phone memory comprises System, Internal and (optional) SDcard. Not all apps (i.e. FF III) can be moved from System to the 1GB Internal memory. I have yet to try moving any apps directly to SDcard (may require SDK kit).
Screen just about adequate for Youtube, Videos, Games (though text hard to read in RPG's). SDcard ideal for films, MP3 and emulator ROM storage.
WiFi checking of email is a great benefit to me, though having WiFi enabled does run down the battery faster. Happy with phone given the relatively low price for an Android device. If I upgrade, it would primarily be for a bigger/higher resolution screen.
