MK, 08 Mar 2014Thats what i did but then a massage saying "Your phone is not registered yet" app... moreIn addition, you can't update your phone is it's already rooted but you can if you are able to flash the stock ROM but LG is difficult to flash compared to Samsung.
MK, 08 Mar 2014Thats what i did but then a massage saying "Your phone is not registered yet" app... moreA day after i bought the L5 2, I received a text from LG. In the text it says: "Your phone is a genuine LG product." Now, from my point of view, that is the "registration process" because I have read somewhere on the internet that LG automatically registers your phone when you insert a sim card for the first time so, maybe that's why my phone doesn't say "not registered." There is a way to check if your phone is authentic by simply looking at the "imei number" located in the box of the phone when you bought it and then take a look at your phone: go to settings-about phone-phone identity. Please check if the imei number of your phone matches the imei number in the box of the phone. Another way is to go online and check it at pda.net and just type your imei number and it will automatically tell you what your phone model is.
