Jeff, 05 Sep 2013how did you upgrade?Connect your phone to PC, open LG PC Suite. Suite will offer you a possibility of upgrade to 4.1.2. Procedure lasts for about 20-30 mins. Voila, Jelly Bean!

superbb fone.. i've been using this fone for 1year... encountered no problem till now.... recently upgraded to jellybean 4.1.2.. battery life has improved alot.. performance is superbb...interface has changed... running smoooooth... just loving it....

Moreover, once the update is done, perform a factory reset and then install the backup files.

I haved update my p705g in June 2013 with firmware V20a.
I did not find other version. Is it just available elsewhere other than Canada? Please share your source.

Currently I have official 4.1.2. JB (V20D) with typical LG UI, which is much better than old ICS, 4.0.2. (V20K). Tell us more, link it...

Hey guys, I know you all are facing problems with the android of this phone and the only complaint is that it lags, right? It's slow.
But hey, I've got a solution for that.
LG has released a software update for the L7 which will upgrade your phone from ICS to JellyBean with PojectButter UI.
It's official.
Trust me. I find almost no lag in my L7 now. I always have 130-140 MB Ram free when all apps are closed.

Marlon, 29 Aug 2013My phone's cpu often run on 100% even with all apps closed, and then it lags more than usual. ... moreIf u have 3rd party CPU state meter app/widget (as I do), it usually measures CPU usage correctly, but sometimes it happens that CPU clears RAM and causes CPU meter app to freeze in certain state, usually at 100% usage. If you restart the app, CPU measuring restarts normally.

Phone starts ringing, screen turns black, phone still rings, no buttons for answer/hang up and usually the one how calls, gives up, because phone rings without possibility to answer for about 20 seconds. That's really bad, basic mobile phone operation cannot be done without lags.

I just brought the LG L7 3 weeks ago. Love the phone except 9 times out of 10 i can't answer a call !. Iv taken it back to the shop to be fixed and it needs software updates so i can answer it. Anyone else had a similar problem?
