LG Optimus L9 P760 - user opinions and reviews

It still baffles me, despite making better quality products, why LG odes not market its products like Samsung does. Availability of the phones, let alone accessories, becomes a major issue at times when you decide to buy one. Even the salesmen at any retail stores try to push Samsung phones despite knowing there are better ones available in similar range.
Anyways, after using this phone for a week, below is my impression:
* GORGEOUS ... this phone really is quite a looker and turning of heads are guaranteed when pulled out of pocket
* Screen despite being HUGE, miraculously slips into any of your pockets easily ... as easily as my Galaxy S, my previous phone. This is nothing short of a design excellence
* The screen quality is AWESOME .. bright and vibrant with excellent rendering (coming from an amoled display, I didn't feel much of a difference; trust me its that good).. My colleagues Grand's screen looks really pathetic beside it and anyone who has seen them side by side admits it.
* Super smooth and super intuitive UI .. LG has done a good job on their skin this time (still on ICS) .. ZERO LAG despite installing resource heavy apps .. gaming and multimedia is splendid
* Battery 1.5 days despite heavy use
* Lastly, please stop comparing it with Grand. I love Samsung phones and was a happy user for 2 years. But this is way better than grand on any count, except camera and internal storage.
Cons:
* Camera below average
* Internal storage low .. But with JB update (released) that is solved
* Back cover though have stunning looks with metallic LG logo engraved on it, feels flimsy.
* As stated earlier, availability of accessories
So if you are not planning to launch a rocket with your phone or planning to take up a National Geographic photography assignment using your phones camera, go for L9 blindfolded.

I m using LG L9 P768 i m facing a major problem in this set. when i m going to make call its showing always a message "Recognize internal process please wait". but after long waited its same. its not allowed to make call. then mobile should be restart. after restart some time its working well or sometime same problem. its showing this message many time in day. i was waiting for update, last week i updated this 4.1.2 jellybean but still same problem facing overall its useless for me. coz i can't make call or receive call. I anybody can help pls help me....my email ID...(viclove3@gmail.com)...thanks

typing is ur problem... u will face typing problm even in galaxy s4 or iphone, if u cant type on optimus L9...
And no one is forcing u to buy it.. u can try nokia asha or samsung galaxy Y... they will give u best xp

I am using this phone from last 6 months(from jan 9), and according to me except the camera(average quality) and the lower internal memory(2.33gb user available) everything is fine in this phone. Thanks to JB update, atleast we can transfer some of the applications/games to the microSD card.

Bad quality. After a couple months, quality deteriorate. Typing is a pain. Slow response. Calling is a challenge. Plus, overheating of the phone with an hour of continuous use. Autocorrect is also a pain. Not worth the money
