Not sure about micro or mini sim. Bought this mobile about a week ago, just loving it. Too bad it doesn't have an amoled screen. That would have been awesome.

LG optimus L9 this model is mentioned as P765 in lg.com.in.smartphones
The phone supports mini sim, but wrongly mentioned in gsmarena as micro sim.
This phone supports memo, it can translate other languages with single click, has cheese shutter function (camera), key pad can be broken in to two ends (easy typing).
But anyone who bought this device esp from India just confirm, whether supports the above mentioned functions.

Specification says it has "micro-SIM". Incorrect. I have just purchased this phone - it has normal mini-SIM card slot.

Max, 25 Dec 2012There are 2 versions - one with gorrila glass2 (L9 P769) and one version (L9 P760) without gor... moreIt,s just normal glass.. BUT! P760 has 4.7" display and the P769(with Gorrila Glass) has 'only' 4.5" display!

Hi,
LG L9 is very good mobile, cant even compare with Samsung galaxy s advance, just have an hands on, check for the build quality, the screen resolution, the cam , the sound etc and then decide yourself.
company giving adds in TV and in news paper is not always a good quality company, use your common sense and then decide.

This phone is not available now in West Bengal, India. I searched almost all dealers and shops for L9. Most of dealers said L9 will not launch due to some defects, that's why LG discontinued the same. Is this true? Please reply.
