yes it works in the philippines, im using it now, but its stock messaging apps can only produce 90 chracters so you need to download other messaging apps , i downloaded chomp sms, and now there is no limit for my message, its a perfect phone super fast, faster than samsung galaxy s3 with very reasonable price..

can i ask for those in the philippines if it is possible to use smart or globe sim with this phone? because it only shows cmda and not gsm..

I bought this phone and its perfectly working here in the Philippines. But I dont know how to configure it to 3G. I'm using Smart sim and sent sms to them but no reply regarding configuration of 3G. I don't know if the Phone model is F160k or LG Optimus LTE 2. which is the correct Phone model?

How do I acces LG OPTIMUS LTE2 F160L menu?
I need helps related to an LG LTE2 F160L that I just receive as a gift from a very nice Korean friend. He just gave me that phone before he left Bali back to Korea. But, stupidly I don't even tried to use the phone before he left. So when I tried to activate the phone, well I couldn't do anything because the phone ask me, I guess, for a google account user name and the password. I'm not so sure because the phone was set in Korean languange and letters that I couldn't even understand it! When I push the back menu, the phone returns to the locked home screen and when I swipe it to unlock, it will take me back to that email password all over again, and it such a disaster that I don't even have his email adress! What a bad kind of a friend I am
What can I do over this situation? I never use an Android-flatformed smartphone before. I love this phone so much, even though I can't get into it yet, so far.
Just can't wait to explore this manly smartphone. So please help me to fix this problem. Any idea of you will be very, very appreciated.

Note: I don't mind to lose all the data and back to factory setting as long as I would be able to use the phone. I have tried to hard reset it with buttons according to some website but nothing works! Help!

So better get this phone. its competitive to S3. i got it for 23000 from Islamabad. I live in khi . its not easily available here.

This is not a GSM device, it will not work on any GSM network worldwide.
Does that mean it won't work on 2G like Ufone, Mobilink or any other service in Pakistan.
And for how much Rupees did u buy this set?
