Guys, I have a question for you: I've had this phone for 2 weeks now, and I've never seen any LEDs flashing or anything, so I always assumed this phone didn't have an LED light on the front.
But today, I looked at it in direct sunlight, in a different angle, and I noticed something that looked like either a camera or an LED light, right next to the speaker. So, I was wondering, does this phone have an LED on the front? If so, is my phone defective for not flashing it?
Thanks a bunch!
[deleted post]@Suraj Thank you so much bro . Your solution is awesome. :) now i can keep my fav ringtones.

They must resolve it....if they ignore, will loose the hold on mid range and slowly fades away...

i can list u some...
1,BATTERY...JUST1250mah...also people are reporting prblms of overheating..and battery will not last even a day of normal use
2, Froyo only and also less sw updates.
3,poor audio quality and not louder.
5,Less service centres.
these may be silly issues before u ;because u only mind the dust problem of op1.
The only better thing in dellXCD35is the 3.5 '' screen.
Yes,I agree with ur right to post ur ideas here, but one thing ,just spend some time to make sure that u r right...don't misguide anyone.
Don't be angry with me..i am only telling what I know...
[deleted post]Ohh Happy Birthday Dude !!! nice to hear from you.
To other O1 users . I personally feel that the Speaker is not lud enough as a result i often miss my calls. I have tried some ring tones but they are too feeble. Can you suggest some loud ring tones that plays sufficiently loud on OP1's .(Name of ringtones + Links etc will be most appreciated . )
[deleted post]Hey bro....Happy birthday....Has been a lil busy so aint visiting the site as regularly as i generally do ;)
Got you O1 btway??
Its not user friendly set. its difficult to operate varoius operating function. In this range its not better choice
I just owned lg optimus couple months ago.it's my first smart phone and I really love it.but I have a problem with it since I downloaded many application.sometime my phone had stuck (freeze) for few seconds,or sometime it turn to off and all the buttons were blinking...there is nothing i could do except unplug the battery and plug back in...can anyone help ?

As for recommending, thats a dicy affair as mentioned above all have pros and cons. Consider Dell XCD35 (Rebranded San Fransisco Orange). But its cam is worse than the O1). Besides that it rocks, esp. the screen. Also Dell has a replacement policy rather than repair, should you have a problem.
And those who think they have warranty and LG will replace handsets, I seriously don't think they will do that just for the dust issue. In my case I was actually lucky they did my phone in, so I got out (refund). And I appreciate LG for that.

Most users seem to get emotional and loose their objectivity. For existing users, I have mentioned my experiences with the service center and how they (possibly) ruined my phone and wasted a lot of my time. And I will certainly blame LG for creating a good phone with a very stupid and serious problem. If that bugs you, too bad. Just try and learn to live with it. :D
