For gods sake people, please put the matter to rest. The Sale Promo is over and done with. No point crying, its not going to bring the promotion back. If you do not succeed in getting the phone, then it is not meant to be....Life has to move on
You cannot put a good product down. LG is sold to have sold a million units of this thing in just 40 days. But many potential customers that LG made to suffer with FALSE HOPES are definitely not going to add to their profits as these customers now hate LG for the trouble they had to go through.
What was WRONG with the Sale Promo? Who was at fault? What's the solution?
LG: You should tell those waiting that there were only 50 units to be given away and that statistically, not all will be sold the unit in one hour. That is simply improbable.
LG, you should have taken all the names of the people who patiently waited in line, endured hunger, a full bladder and rectum, even ate and drank miserably while standing in line and putting up with the foul smell of the person in front of the line and GAVE THESE PEOPLE AT LEAST A 30% discount to be collected later, and you would have won more adherents and admirers that would translate to better sales. Otherwise, YOU MADE THE PINOYS LOOK LIKE A BUNCH OF POOR MONKEYS going after a banana dangled on a stick.
The People who lined up: If LG had warned them beforehand that only 50 units were to be given out in one hour and they refused to listen, then its your fault people, not LGs. So quit putting down LG. I took one look at the line and I knew it was a lost cause, so there, if you had any brains left, you could have just left the line.
The jerks who got the phone: Don't look so smug about it, and if you don't want bad luck and evil curses rained down on you, then just shut up and shove your phone up your combined anuses or whatever hole it will most fit suitably. More people were angered here than pleased with that fiasco, so just shut it. Quit gloating.
Seeing some comments here, sounds like many people were disgruntled with the way LG "marketed" its product.
Obviously that one-hour sale or something was a plain marketing ploy.
I'm really curious, magkano ba (how much) yung Optimus One during that sale? Nagkagulo yata.
Please GSMARENA team, provide a full review for this phone asap. I have been waiting for your comprehensive review on this model. Please.. =)
[deleted post]just tell the truth, u dont have it.
u just proved it. ha ....ha & my english is good enough at list i m nt da on who is telling lie 2 all
for all those who are affected to such unfortunate fortune of not having the chance to grab the high end phone, its not the fault of the LG admin for your loss. I too am a customer of LG which purchased the said product on its promo period..
if you felt so bad about it, think again, if you were there earlier than the people around you, do you think you would put any negative comment for LG?.. think again folks.. its not their fault, but its yours.. you should have been their earlier if you want one.
