In Indonesia LG Q6 is about IDR3100000 (230USD) and some online shop are having a flash sale that made the phone even cheaper (below USD230), ranging from USD200-210. And its The 3/32 variant
Its a crap covered in nice phone body.
Its like when you put motor from Opel or Skoda into Porsche
Looks great but always coughing
By the way,do not underestimate the 435 chip. Please do some internet search and compare 435 to higher level chips.you will be surprised.
For the amount of money, they should have went with the snapdragon 625 at least or the older 652.But that's LG for ya,putting great screens and nice looking phones on lower level chipsets.
Over all it's a nice looking device for me,except for it's chipset.
Nice phone considering there are no great small but modern designed phones out there yet. I just wish it had a half-way serious chipset. SD660 would have been nice.
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2017There's a usb-c and you can unlock the Q6 with your face instead of your fingerprintface recognition can be ripped with a photography of the phones owner in front of the camera, just try it, if you grab a phone with the owners pic and you put less brightness so the camera and software can properly scan the face.
Anonymous, 11 Jul 2017That CPU downgrade is a big fail. For a more affordable phone, they could use at least Snapdra... morethey love to do that same happened on my LG G PAD 8.3 Tablet, they released newer ones but same 2 freaking GB of RAM like they love to keep being antiquate or downgrade.
serria, 21 Aug 2017Not talking about KnockOn, It also a good feature coming from RR rom, I wanted to know about k... moreThis is my First LG device, so doesn't know about KnockCode. Yes, there is no Knock Code on the LG Q6 (Pattern, Pin, Swipe, and face scan are the security option).

Jay511, 23 Aug 2017Hello, I was considering to buy a well built phone under 20000 INR. My considerations were ... moreI think you go with nokia 6 because nokia give its support for 4yrsas they promise where in opposite lg only have better display but rheir is lack of basic sensor even it has no fingerprint
I was considering to buy a well built phone under 20000 INR. My considerations were LG Q6 or Nokia 6 (which just launched today in India hence waiting for reviews).
I am still very much into this phone but heard some negative comments, can anyone please answer my queries? Thanks in advance.
1. How is the battery life (normally I stream lots of videos, music, web browsing & constantly use business apps, not into gaming)?
2. Does this phone have heating issue(reportedly around volume keys)?
3. How good is the face recognition unlock feature? Is it really that helpful?
4. Does this phone lag for the usage as mentioned in 1.?
5. Does this phone have LED notification?
6. Is audio quality really that poor as many people are mentioning?
Also, can anyone please suggest a phone under 20000 INR? Requirements: great built, better performance (mostly for video streaming, lots of browsing & business apps, no gaming), dual sim, at least 32 GB internal storage, good looks. Thanks in advance.
