Secondly, the phone is 360 euros. None of these parts should bring the price remotely that high. They obviously have room to make the display OLED if OnePlus can do both that AND make it a high refresh rate.

they still have to make the displays and if they added oled the price of the phone goes up
but anyway they still have the best lcd displays so shouldnt bother much
32 MP selfie Camera with that IP rating!!?!?! Swimsuit pictures in the pool All Day Everyday! and a headjack!?!? SWEET...
LG literally makes their own OLED displays and they seriously couldn't afford to put one in this?!?
Anonymous, 26 Aug 2020Go with Lg only downside of lg phone is software update their are improving it from this year.... moreSoftware is fine, updates sometimes late. Not that much bloatware, only some double apps (I prefer most of the LG version though, I hate things like Google Play music and Photos). Still not a heavy skin. And the updates seem to be more often now.
Don't have experiences with OnePlus, but the software is cleaner as far as I know. You are also getting updates for a longer period.
The main plus for LG is the headphone jack though imo
Kimee, 14 Aug 2020The breakingpoint is, how much? IP68 and STD compliant makes this phone expensive. They should... moreNo, they shouldn't
Gsmarena the best, 25 Aug 2020Q92 vs Nord ... ?Go with Lg only downside of lg phone is software update their are improving it from this year. some will say nord has led display and better but the lg has better camera software then oneplus and lcd is not a matter for that price even iphone 11 has lcd didplay
Glordium, 25 Aug 202015 watts charging & IPS & 60hz for 360 euro ? is this a joke ???It has an IP rating and is a 5g phone... Phones at this price do not have to have all the same specs as flagships
I have hoped that the trend for covering the display goes away. Notch or punch hole, instead of a bevel on top and bottom and a 16:9 display. Stretching videos is not a good idea, at least the mobile has full hd resolution. They should look at Sony, how sensible they do funcional design. A bevel, flat full hd display, stereo speakers, 3.5" jack, and microsd memory slot would be nice. The price is good, Sony Xperia 10 ii is more expensive and has a very slow chip (Snapdragon 665), slower than the Exynos 8890 in Samsung S7 which sells for $120.
Ip68 + Mil STD in Midrangephones, i definitely will buy this.
with 360 Euro its Worth it i think
People here seems to be irking off with the IP68 rating. LG is not a newbie in the smartphone market. They have a robust manufacturing experience and always integrates best practices.
The IP68 and MIL rating are surely integrated within their manufacturing unit back since 2015 when V10 had it and continuing with every flagship model.
The cost for setting up standards for such ratings must've been neutralized by now, making them easily take advantage of these ratings.
I'm sure it isn't that much impacted to the final price. Also not a bad thing to have it too!
ip68 rating is a premium feature but it makes the price higher and chinese phone fanboys
would argue forever about this
So the official pricing for this phone in South Korean market has been confirmed at $420. $420 for a slightly trimmed-down Velvet 5G without DualScreen case looks like a good deal. Glad to see IP and MIL-STD rating still present on this Q92. Also, that rear camera design looks so cool!
The only question left is whether to pick this LG Q92 or OnePlus Nord. $20 difference is not massive at all to me.
